Surely Ba is now set for the exit?

Why can't Chelsea just cut their loses and sell back to us for £7m. He's hardly improved since he joined them.

He pretty much is a short term thinking manager though, nobody can really deny that. It's been quite evident at every club he's been at since he was at Chelsea first time round.
 
I would have said Eto was a great bit of business as long as he isn't on his salary from Anzi. Why spend a lot of money on a player who may not perform and will be on an expensive long term contract. There are only a few days of the window left so a player for a year like that is perfect and will allow them to either sort out another striker in January or next summer if needs be.

He is a great player when on form but I honestly have no idea what he is like these days. I just remember the ******* scoring against us in the CL for Barca.
 
Obviously not our number one choice but on a short term contract it should hopefully not stifle lukaku and his future progress. Could work out very well for us.

Yes he is, he spends lots of money on instant success, lots of it poorly, then leaves or gets booted for being a bell
 
Hopefully Eto'o is somewhere near what he used to be, he's got be better than Ba at least plus he's free & only here for a year until we get someone else in so I think it's a good move.
Ba will probably go now, although he apparently doesn't want to leave.
