It all stinks of his agents doing, probably telling Bale what to do. Reckon the deal will be announced tonight as Lamela has signed for Spurs.

I personally thought Bale had a little more respect that what he has shown this week. Yes the most expensive transfer in history is going to be complicated. He put pen to paper a few years ago agreeing to stay with spurs until the end of his contract. He had no right to not go to training but be pictured attending his agents office I find that disgraceful behavior.
I do understand he is trying to force the move, but its hardly like Real would not be interested next year. Hes been a great player for us but I will be pleased to see him go now so finally we can move on with the great signings we have made.

Not a chance. The fee doesn't represent a players actual talent. Their wage is much more of a comparison with their team mates. If he is anywhere near Ronaldos wage I will be amazed and Ronaldo will be fuming!

He hasn't signed a new contract yet. Although I'm pretty sure he's on close to that anyway, didn't his wage increase each year with his contract?

If you're the world record transfer and your agent hasnt negotiated so that you're the highest paid player in the world or near that, then you should probably have a different agent.

Hasnt signed but thats what he's after by all accounts - its to do with changes in the tax system but wont amount to much more than he's already on. I forget the details.
