Just because you and two Everton fans thinks he crap there doesn't make it so :)

Surely that moyes didn't want to use him that way previously says what he thinks oh him as a possible DM? He'll he'd rather use Phil Neville that should speak volumes ;)

Look I hope he drives on and becomes a much better player in a better side, frankly though I just think he will not be anything like consistent enough for you.

Of the midfielders we lost in recent seasons he's the least I'm bothered about. I was more concerned about losing Cahill at the end of his career than Fellaini. A much harder worker, better in the air and better behind the striker.

Khedira has confirmed we did indeed make a last minute €40m bid for him.

Why couldn't we have done all of this earlier.

Beyond ridiculous.

There are some murmurings that the whole Herrera thing isn't down to us and that it's Bilbao playing silly buggers again like they did for the Martinez deal - there's only a couple of Spanish articles (that have been translated) out there so it's all a bit muddy still.

Wouldn't surprise me, they seem a bit of a pain in the backside to deal with.

Thanks for the money United. :) More than the release clause was! haha
:D

make that 4! ;)

i think he is very inconsistant and has 2-3 good games a yr. the norwich game this season he was toilet all game and 2 out of 3 times i saw him last yr he was crap too. i am not that fussed he's gone. barry is a better def midfielder and mccarthy is a good young talent. lukaku shocked me though but him and jela up front could work.

We've been interested apparently. I was pretty annoyed when he decided to go to you, then it turned out he wasn't that great!

Momo's time with us ended badly but overall he was a very good signing. His first season where we won the FA Cup and finished 2nd, he was as important to the side as Gerrard who had probably had his best season ever at the time.

He had a very good start to the following season too but unfortunately he dislocated his shoulder and was out for 3 months. By the time he came back from that we had signed Mascherano and he'd lost his place in the side.

He was never a long term signing. He was brought in to do a job until we could sign the right player. He done that and we doubled our money on him too.

This was how I would line them up (I will no doubt be criticised for Rosicky's inclusion but I am a big fan of his and I think he could still play a big part this season). I think (when he's fit again) Podolski is our best striker, and this free's up LW for Cazorla, as well as creating competition from Giroud / Walcott up top..

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Monreal, Vermaelen, Flamini/Ramsey, Ox, Walcott/Giroud

Wilshere , Ramsey are more box to box type players

Arteta plays a deeper role

Rosicky is injury prone

which leaves Corzorla and Ozil.

More depth and competition is a good thing.

Ozil is used to drifting out wide as Di Maria and Ronaldo both liked cutting inside all the time - so I think we'll see him and Cazorla switching positions quite a lot as they're both comfortable doing that. This article was published before the transfer but it gives you a good idea of how he'll fit in.

The most destructive player in the league maybe returning!!! Hopefully he's learnt how to pass now ;).

This season is going to be very interesting, so many new players and managers about I don't think anything can be taken for granted.

You try passing the ball when you're blind in 1 eye.
