So 1 game is enough for you to know he is what you need? you do realise its things like this that give folks here ammo..
That one game showed me the type of player he is and after reading more about him from people who watch him a lot more than me he fits the the type of player we need.
I believe we need an "all action" midfielder who is fast, agile, can play different positions and will be a good foil alongside Toure. Fernandinho ticks those boxes.

Give them ammo, to do what exactly? make some snide remarks every once in a while?
If I was at all bothered by them I would have stopped posting on here a long time ago.

Where's Tummy to mention cute and Ronaldo in the same sentence?

Villa are apparently after Belhanda which would be a massive signing.

Corriere dello Sport reporting that Chelsea have made a €10million (£8.5m) bid to Roma for Daniele De Rossi.

TOTTENHAM are ready to launch a £9million bid for former Birmingham striker Christian Benitez.

Spurs chiefs have opened talks for the Ecuadorian international, 27, who has topped the scoring charts in the Mexican top flight for the last three seasons.

Benitez smashed 30 goals this term to lead Club America to the title.

Club America president Ricardo Pelaez said: “There could be a good offer for Christian from Tottenham.

“I’ve spoken with him and he wants to return to Europe. We won’t clip his wings if we get an offer that suits us.

“Of course there are bids for him — he has been the league’s top scorer three times after all.

“He is a great guy and a magnificent player. He is under contract but we’ll look to see what is the best option.”

from the sun so i have no idea what to make of that.

Once again, one game is enough for you to determine he is what you need? Baffling.

No, two seasons of being dumped out of the CL and suffering against top teams who press our midfield has determined that we need better midfielders who are faster with and without the ball, can retain possession as well as win it back and can add some goals.

Fernandinho by all accounts can do all of this. The one game I watched he did exactly what I believe we have been missing. He won the ball back on the half way line and moved up the pitch with it and linking with the striker I believe and then he got the ball back and finished it.

Navas and Fernandinho both in Manchester apparently for their medicals. Rumors of a friday announcement of both players and Pellegrini. Maybe even Isco alongside them.
