He's not even on the Utd reddit's tier guide so I'm going to assume he's **** tier. The Athletic is pretty much just clickbait other than a few journalists.

Why is that?

We have spent big and undeniably have players who are better than our oppositions players for 90% of games.

Yet we rely on direct long ball football, rely on passing to bissaka or Brandon Williams expecting them.to turn into kanchelskis and gigs and win games for us.

Its just poor coaching.
 
On the verge of signing two youngsters today, Amad Traore from Atlanta and Facundo Pellestri from Penarol. So we might have a right winger in a few years who knows.

Ole laid out his plans for this summer and hasn't been backed. Just like Jose did after his second place finish. Ole is finished now and it would be better for him to just walk to save some pride.

Ole outsmarted tactically, Pochettino when he was at Spurs, Pep three times last season, Fat Frank 3 times last season. Ole had no issues in the big games. His issue is breaking down the low block teams not playing the big games and got to three Semi Finals in all our competitions. He overachieved if anything. He has been hung out to dry this summer. We are Manchester United who historically have bought best in class year in year out. Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Ronaldo, RVN etc. Ever since the Glazers have come in it has just been a joke year in year out.

Bring in Poch he might have a good spell for a year then the same thing will happen and he will not be backed. Regardless

Yesterdays game is a culmination of the crap that has been happening behind the scenes of the past summer.

Yes we've spent big but haven't spent wisely who's actually choosing the players as lvg said he didn't get 1st 2nd or 3rd choice players he wanted Jose complained he didn't get the players he wanted now ole choices were grealish sancho and a cb were are they we got Donny not a bad player no cb and no sancho panicked and bought Cavani who wanted him nobody did it's stinks of Woodward and his pals

I’ve always felt Ole has done well due to the players being up for it and carrying him, rather than anything he’s done tactically. He’s done some good things for sure but a top level manager he is not.

Pochettino has more about him philosophically and tactically, no question.

Fair enough mate, I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this!
In fairness to him, I think Ole would be good for the club as an ambassador of some sorts or something behind the scenes at least.

I agree Robbo. It’s when the players have been up for it that we’ve outdone the opposition rather than Ole instigating anything. Poch would work them hard.

I do agree. Ole would be a fantastic director of football in my opinion but to say he has been poor is just not right.

Is he that good? Guess 30m is the going rate for a 'has a lot of potentional and pretty good already".

Also BBC saying Chris Smalling is staying at Utd...so...i guess they kinda "signed" a new CB? :p
