Honestly I don't think the Glazers give even a single **** about United on the pitch. If they did they would have removed Woodward from anything football related. Hes clearly brilliant at the money side of things but he shouldn't be doing anything beyond that. The fact is is speaks volumes about the Glazers intents.
They’re interested in Champions League so the money keeps rolling in and that’s it. They take millions a year out of the club.

So Alex Telles and Cavani are about done, unless they've changed their minds (who could blame them :p)

Barcelona are getting Depay tomorrow, so that may allow for a Dembele loan if Sancho doesn't materialise (I'd be shocked if it did)...

This is the annoying thing. After the deadline why didn't they just come out and say we are not going for him so everyone including the staff at the club could get on with their lives. I honestly believe Ole has no idea what has and is happening with the Sancho saga.

Mm do believe you are correct about Ole not knowing anything.

Maybe the board think of Cavani as a maquee signing (if that is the right term!) to "boost" Utd? Bit like their signing of Zlatan?

And Ole is left shrugging his shoulders trying to defend actions he doesn't know about...

or maybe woodward et al heard that MLS benefited from buying in famous players in their senior years and thinks that's how it's done: get the golden oldies for a last hurrah and boost your club. Maybe it's the problem when you're given the US playbook for a European theatre?

I am just shocked we bought a player for what seems a very reasonable price, unless Telles is worth 50 bob?

He seems like a decent player but he's playing in the Portuguese league and because of how full Brazil are on left backs its a bit hard to judge. Hopefully he can push Luke Shaw a bit to perform like he did last season. This also means Brandon Williams can go to his more natural right back position. Now Tony Marshal is out for 3 games Cavani will have to show the majority of the supporter base that we are wrong about him.

Saying that our most important signing needs to be some form of defensive coach.

If? And they have a preferred manager already? Something doesn’t add up. Either they plan to sack Ole and try and get Bielsa or they plan to give Ole time. It’s not even been a month since the season started, some players are clearly still gaining match fitness, it’s ridiculous he’s even being talked about getting the sack.

Well today should certainly be interesting!

I smell BS. Why on earth would Bielsa leave Leeds, a club that has completely bought into his ethos and backed him 100%. and where he's really now beginning to see the fruits of his labours to go to Man U and put up with the clowns running it?
Given his hisrory of walking out on clubs who don't fully subscribe to his way of doing things I'd say there's more chance of me being the next United manager...

Not a chance Bielsa would move to any club in mid season, he has a mental amount of requirements when joining a club and pre season is massively needed. Maybe they will go for him at the end of the season but even then I cannot see him working with the Glazers. I would have thought Leeds would have been his last European job before going back to Argentina tbh.

Poch is the obvious choice to replace him, but I don’t think he’ll be going anywhere for a while yet. Bielsa wouldn’t be straightforward and he won’t leave Leeds at the moment.

Sounds like the Sancho deal is about dead and Ousmane Dembele is possible if not likely...

Made me laugh last night watching Ole criticise a player for going down, he even had the gall to say if that was my son! We remember when you ran into Sols elbow and got him sent off.

Haha, what utter BS. First of all, I would be stunned if Bielsa would take the United job at any point. Hes a bit of a nutter and wouldn't even consider putting up with the **** that he would have to deal with at United. Hes not stupid so he wouldn't even put himself in that position in the first place.

Ole will be with us until the end of the year unless we continue this form for a few more months which I doubt. We have a top 4 squad if they actually play remotely well and we will win games simply through our forward line.

The idea that the upper management at United have a plan is also laughable.
