Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

Spurs would be better getting Bendtner out of retirement before taking either of those 2 donkeys............................

The same donkey that has scored 3 vital goals on the biggest stage or the other with more premier league goals then a fella going to City for 100 mil in less appearances?

Without Origi Liverpool dont win a champions league. To call him a donkey is ridiculously harsh.

He has scored a great many vital goals for Liverpool and has come on leaps and bounds since he was voted into Ligue 1’s worst team. Without him Liverpool are nowhere near as successful as they have been recently. He puts in lots of effort and shows what good coaching can do to a player. He will get double figures easily with the right service somewhere else.

A few stories coming out of Spain suggesting that Messi's leaving Barca. If true, where does he go? City & PSG are the only logical destinations.

If they signed Messi you would have to think Kane is off the cards for City...

I think it will be PSG personally.

Some top quality Google Translate of the statement on the Barca site:

Despite having reached an agreement between FC Barcelona and Leo Messi and with the clear intention of both parties to sign a new contract today, it cannot be formalized due to economic and structural obstacles (Spanish LaLiga regulations) .

Given this situation, Lionel Messi will not continue linked to FC Barcelona. Both parties deeply regret that the wishes of both the player and the Club cannot finally be fulfilled.

Barça would like to thank with all its heart the player's contribution to the enhancement of the institution and wishes him the best in his personal and professional life.

Do you think Villa can unspend the Grealish money too? :p

So Barcelona can't afford his wages because of their salary cap and he won't lower his demands.

Sad for both parties but I'd happily see that kind of cap imposed on all clubs, regardless of financial status.
