Some rumours knocking about now that Amrabat could go to Liverpool. I'd actually be pretty happy about that, if you look back at the World Cup threads you'll see that I wanted us to buy Amrabat back then, so I'd be good with that signing

As long as we sign somebody else (Doucoure or less preferably Amrabat), I think that Endo sounds a really sensible signing. He plays multiple positions, he's got huge amounts of experience, he's captained big sides, and he's clearly highly thought of in Germany. I have no problem with him being 30 - we've lost three of our most experienced players, bringing someone of that age in seems really sensible.

If he's been signed as our principal/only new CDM recruit then I'm a little concerned, but if he's there with a view to us also getting somebody younger I think it's a great shout.

Olise signed a new deal at Palace as well, likely 3-4x his previous wage too. He will play every week at Palace but he wouldn't at Chelsea. Finally calmer heads prevailing somewhere!

Yeh, but knowing fsg he's more of an Arthur style last minute panic acquisition.
