Summer weather thread 2024

Didn't take long to get back to being cold and grey again.

Forecast still looking good for next week. But from past experience I just know that by the end of this weekend the genuinely good summer weather that's predicted will be heavily downgraded and barely better than what we've seen the last few weeks. Happens the vast majority of the time.



Posting this for reference when there's more rainy days than sunny forecast and those temperatures are back in the teens. :p

Actually a touch cooler here due to a brisk wind, this is fine as it keeps the bottling area (Gin) in basically an old cow shed, much cooler

I'm going with Netweather at the moment, their forecast is much better for our neck of the woods on Saturday. I'm done with BBC weather!

Just been outside and the wind cut through me so came in and turned heating on - Will give it enough time to raise temp a few degrees then turn down the stat.
It hasn't been the best of days - I hate wind of any sort.
 
Outlook is positively sunny now on the Beeb! Amazing how that's turned around so quickly, it was only a couple of days ago and they were still forecasting several rainy days on the 2 week summary...

Yeah felt colder this morning on school walk. Thick cloud blocking out all sun warmth, again!
 
Almost perfect walking the dog this morning, cool, slight breeze then the sun came out and the wind dropped, temp must have gone up 3° almost immediately.
 
It's finally sunny and the wind has gone. I'm currently in the car waiting for running club and the car temperature is 17C. Sadly Honey isn't with me but I can imagine she's loving the sun.
