Scorchio today. Did a bit of work in the garden and jumped through the kids water sprayer thingy like an eejit. Fun times. Probably back to rain/cold/dull/miserable (circle as appropriate) tomorrow.

It's considerably easier with a controllable heat. I've never understood all the hate against gas BBQS, I can use my smoker to get a lovely flavour going and to be fair it's all about the prep work beforehand that makes a great BBQ. Giving your meat a good old rub is where it begins

You can control the heat on charcoal bbq's as long as it's got adjustable vents. Kamado style ones are very controllable. Everything from 100c to 400c. Just takes practise.

Whatever makes you happy though at the end of the day.

It's cloudy again today.
The forecast has failed completely this weekend.

Been solid cloud since Saturday

Which means it's been hot and humid. Which is no fun.

Was out on a bike ride with a mate for an hour and it was beautiful. Not too hot, golden hour, in the rolling hills around Tunbridge wells. Magic stuff.

London could be hitting 30 by Wednesday. I love warm/hot weather but even for me, 30 is as high as it needs to go. Anything over and I think everyone apart from the sun worshipping die hards starts to struggle a bit

fed up of reading posts about people complaining of heatstroke every time a ray of sun appears.
