Weathers actually surprisingly good today, very pleasant indeed. Still, plenty of currant here
I only stipulated you can’t moan about it being too hot, moaning it’s too cold is fine, so move along quietlyNo moaning!
For clarification I meant you can’t moan about being too hot like you do incessantly, now button itYou said you were fed up of people moaning about it being to hot but then said no moaning thread about the weather not the heat.
I’m starting this thread because I’m getting fed up of reading posts about people complaining of heatstroke every time a ray of sun appears.
So this thread is a moan free zone about the 2024 summer weather (weather of 2022 being a possible exception).
any news?Youngest daughter and husband are now locked in their hotel room in Jamaica.
They queued for 2 hours for water and food to take to their room and they have to put their bed up against the door and mattress up against the windows.
Take that negativity to the it’s too hot thread please. You’re breaching the no moaning about the heat rule.indoors has reached 25c now sun has been hitting the roof and walls since sunrise
Moaning about the summer weather being too cold is allowedGREY, RAINING, COLD. /notmoaning-honest
All beautiful regions have their sesspits. I think Devon is absolutely beautiful, especially the north and the coast east of Dartmoor, but the biggest city Plymouth is a total chavvy, drug ridden ****holeThe South Pennines of West Yorkshire are as beautiful as anywhere inland in Cornwall
Edit: Dewsbury and Wakey less so
Right, OP has been updated so the confusion is now over and the rules are set from henceforthI would like to remind you that you said no moaning about the weather not the heat or cold

Although it’s summer, I still feel like I’m starting it before summer as it’s been so bloody awful and it doesn’t look like much of an improvement right into July. Still, weather can change rapidly and long term forecasts are very often just a load of guess work.
So if you want to discuss the summer weather in a positive eskimo free zone, this is the thread for you."
What is all this gowanny ****?dark and dismal proper gary glitter gowanny here
20 out, 25 in. Just rightWhat's the temperature though?
18 might not be cold, but it isn’t warm enough for the height of summerdepends where you live. we hardly had any rain for few weeks only once during the day which didnt last long and 2 nights when it rained
currently Humidity is 80% and yes I can feel it when outside even if the forecast is saying its 18c
Should be mid 20’s yeah. The argument for places not being designed to deal with that heat is a silly one. Mid 20’s isn’t that hot and is easily dealt with by such things as light, loose clothing, fans, AC etc. humans need sunlight to survive and prosper. A year with very little sun is not good for health or wellbeing.whats the height of summer ? 25-30c+ with Humidity when most places aint designed to deal with that heat ?
Everywhere has sunlight. Even Arctic regions have very strong sunlight. Last time the sun was blocked out was a mass extinction event that wiped out the dinosaursmy main one is my building its old thick walls , modern insulation so mid 20s is hot when indoors gets to 30c + so loose clothing , fans dont make any difference I can only shower for so long I dont have AC yes I could buy one but they aint quiet , about the sunlight how did / do the people live in places on earth with less light ?
Health is more than just physical, it’s mental too.full-spectrum sunlight still exists beyond the clouds just need to go outside you can also get vitamin D from food
Nah it’s not a burning hot. In the UK it feels like a deep penetrating warmth that releases endorphins.when did I say never get sun ? I see plenty of light outside now even though its cloudy while not being uncomfortably hot , when you say hot sun on face that doesnt sound comfortable to me
Go easy on them, too many berries will give you the 2 bob bitsBeen very nice here no rain, can feel the sun's warmth coming through the clouds with sun occasionally breaking through perfect
Love seeing raspberries and blackberries doing well such great plants very hardy and so sweet
