Tomorrows looking grim for Tony and uscool. I think they better shelter in the fridge until Saturday
I probably live in the hottest part of mainland UK33 indoors this early? Crazy
Had a thin jacket on this morning
Marvellous isn’t itTemperature drop?! In the Midlands it's hotter today than it was yesterday!
Not too hot for the posters on this thread. Read the OP and its off to the it’s too hot thread you go.Bleh, far too hot. Portable AC unit is doing a decent job in the bedroom keeping it to 21C even with the door open, seems to be keeping a lid on humidity too. At least until 16:00 when I have to turn it off as the electricity price almost triples
Quote where I have done this since I started this thread? You mean the same thread you still occasionally crash to counter the "it's too hot" purpose of?
So you’ve joined the forum just to have a pop at a longstanding forum member who actually gets on well with the majority of the forum and actually engages the forum?I was talking to robfosters but fair enough
Tony my friend, I know you don’t like it hot and I honestly understand it, it’s your choice, but all I’m saying is this isn’t the thread to moan about it. If you want to moan and talk to likeminded folk, there’s the it’s too hot thread. I’m struggling to understand why you or others can’t seem to grasp that. That’s the only reason I might sound off or miserable, it’s because I can’t seem to get it through to people that this is for people who are enjoying the heat.No problem. Just because he likes it scorching he thinks we all should. At the minute I'm just standing in the kitchen and sweating doing absolutely nothing. Probably about 28°C in here. We've just got back from Wellingborough Swansgate Centre where the air inside was warm and a downside of the hot weather sat near me. Big bloke with BO. Yes, love the heat
I’ quite fancy a jumbo sausage pleaseBBQ fired up again. Making the most of this. It's damn hot still even in the shade!
Why is it lovely?Rain scheduled for the next few days, lovely
Yeah it’s very warm here in SE London. Only issue is the heavy cloud cover is pushing the humidity up. Little bit more sun would be perfectStil really warm in the east today.

It's a bit more windy and cloudy but still nice.
Just a 7 iron? Surely a 3 wood is the minimum for such a job?Managed to get the Grass cut. Currently 24c and very cloudy but still some sunshine poking through. Rain supposed to be approaching around 1700 then heavy rain for the rest of the night.
Lovely day only spoilt by the local little cretins on Motorcross bikes up and down the canal, no helmets and the standard wannabe gangster man bag.
Resisting the urge to wrap a 7 iron round their heads.
Police won’t do owt, bored of reporting it. Spoiling a nice area.
I love motorbikes but not when they are ridden by uninsured, unlicensed little plebs.
I was saying on the other thread that the temperature today was lovely and really warm, but the air was different, it was heavy and oppressiveOver the last hour or so, the temp outside has dropped from 31C to a much more pleasant 22C, the breeze coming through the lounge window from time to time is bliss!
We missed the thunder and only got a shower for 5mins or so.
Still a horribly hot 28.5C in our lounge, hoping our bedroom cools too, to finally get a decent night's sleep.
I was having difficulty breathing properly because of the humiditySo muggy today, but also no breeze inland here. Not often I switch all the air con on across the house. It was an unreal humidity on the coast, you could see it in the air.
No moaning about hot weather in the summer thread!Praise be!
