Summer weather thread 2024

It looks like yet ANOTHER Saturday is going to be written off. It's so frustrating as Saturday nights for us throughout the Summer generally means we have a friends or family get-together for an evening BBQ. So far this year we've managed just 2, that's how bad this Summer has been.

Woke up to pouring rain, which wasn't supposed to happen. Wouldn't have bothered watering the garden if the forecast had been accurate. Clearing up now though and expected to be warm today.
 
Overcast at the minute in Pembroke becoming warmer and sunnier as the morning goes on. Heading out to Skomer Island for a short trip around it, might see something if we're lucky.:)
 
Yesterday wasn't half bad with the sun getting out and feeling warm in spells. 24C forecast for today so that should feel very nice on the skin.
 
Left Wales and the rain today, the rain stopped by the time we got to the English border and the temperature went up. Other than that a good few days away, lovely people:)
 
Today in Auckland: high of 17 with an overnight low of 9. Windspeed between 20-36 km/h if you care for that sort of thing. Low cloud shifting to a brighter afternoon. Back to you Julia in the studio.
 
had another autumnal week, been no need for the windscreen sun cover at work, 15 to 17c cloud some potential rain today ,will be ok for walking, scary that its getting dark again when i get up for work , non lizard here but i do feel summer has been rubbish, 4 dry days to come anyway.
keep hearing the jet stream is the reason ?
