Great day out SoliD - Thanks for organising and ensuring Vox was missing so the weather could be great!
Ah what a fun day! A deafening tunnel run, angry dog walkers, terrified passengers and a bust car
I made it back the 100+ miles to Kent with no issues except for my tinnitus, the car drives, handles & stops perfectly, its just this odd noise which I'm starting to suspect is my one of my rear diff bearings destroying itself slowly!
My Skoda feels even slower after being in Ian's car... On the way home I was wondering if the turbo had died, then I realised it had always been that slow.
Also it seems theres an update for my phone which might fix the non-working GPS which caused me to stress out and panic while trying to get to the meeting point.
Damn Tom you got a good camera on your phone ! My cars heatshield rattles even more now , ah well. I can put up with it for another 4-5 weeks. Cba to go back to Toyota again to tighten it.
The only photo I have is a blood splat on my windscreen.
Haha , nah , I must have got a piece of the giblet that prolly flew into my car.. Only noticed that splat and I haven't checked the rest of the car as the rest of the remains have prolly blended with the paint
I had a Blue 350Z in front of me , and also had F355s 530i in front of that, until the 350Z overtook the 530i... Behind, albeit quite far back at times was an Alfa GTV , moot point on what was behind me tbh.
Did anyone see me almost lose it on a corner about 5 minutes away from Holiday Inn when we were on the way to the pub? I took it at exactly the same speed I took it in the Polo last time, but it didn't go well.
The reasons can probably be assumed from the inspection which took place in the car park when we got back...
