I've given up on the co-op and bomber trophies, well beyond my skills.

i did it on the last map, theres tonnes of tokens everywhere. let the bonus asteroid float around and shoot stuff around it for more tokens, then hit into the bonus one and hopefully you should catch some extra stray ones

also the co-op trophy is impossible to get unless you have the new expansion, which hasn't been released over here yet! apparantly though its the easiest tropy to get. bomber on the other hand is the hardest one in the game imo.

you need to do it in survival mode, which is mode in the solo expansion pack

Well, i just managed the 15 tokens trophy, still can't manage to get a 10x multiplier tho, i'm not good enough. Managed to up my high score from 35mil to 93mil tho which is nice

That 15 tokens trophy is still evading me as well

I did get up to 9x multiplier though which was going from first planet all the way through to the last without losing a life. Not been able to emulate that attempt since though!!!

For those trying to get the 10x multiplier trophy, apparently it's possible to do it in easy mode.

I'm totally stumped on the late bomber trophy.

How do you get past the boss on the second planet? I just can't figure it out.

He has two sections, first, his arms will be open and he'll shoot pink lasers at you. There are two approaches to this section:

1: The safe option, stay clear and kill some asteroids

2: The risky but high point-scoring method, stay at a reasonable distance, just far enough so the pink lasers aren't too much of a threat but you can still hit him in the face with the gold melter.

After some time, it'll let of a screaming noise an the red 'face' will flip over. Now, get around to the side that the 'face' is looking, remember you can boost through him if you need to.

At this point, get in close and blast him, eventually his arms will close around you, don't panic, you're actually very safe here. He will shoot green lasers at you now, first they will be dull and thin, THESE DON'T HURT YOU, they are a warning that in half a second they get thicker and brighter, that is when they DO hurt you. So when you see the dull, thin green laser, move out of its way before it gets brighter.

Eventually he'll die. I really struggled with him until i realized that the green lasers don't hurt you at first.

I did it, wasn't easy though.
The trick is to bide your time and wait until 2 bomb ships are next to each other, then use one bomb to get 4.
You need to be really slick with the pad though, there's a lot of delicate weaving around asteroids to stay alive and not waste a bomb.

the safest place to be is right next to his weak spot (the giant red spot), stay close to him and you shouldnt get hit.

use the gold melter (red weapon).

you can use a bomb to destroy the purple lasers if you think they are gonna hit you.

boost straight through him when he switches phases and faces the other way

Would anyone else like to see a "retro" mode. I was a great fan of the original, the tunnel sections were great.

I have downloaded the expansion pack to get some more trophies. I managed to survive for 54 seconds in survivor without shooting or using bombs but I didn't unlock the trophy!!! Am I doing something wrong? You can still boost I take it?

Surviving 7 minutes in Endless is bloody tough!!!

I did the same and i used boost, think i destroyed a few rocks in the process and i never got the trophy

So im guessing no guns no bombs and no boost!!

I did it now - did use boost as well. You have to be careful as one of the bonus items you can pick up is time, so I guess you have to avoid boosting through the bonus bearing rocks!

AHA that will be the prob i boosted through some time bonuses and that put my time up have to avoid them ( or just keep going until i get it)

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but if I use the new custom playlist feature, instead on the game music, and play some mellow music (I find Massive Attack good) then I play better. The default music is good but adds to the frantic feel sometimes... or is it just me?
