I've had it with OCUK.

This price on the X1900XT has forced me to buy one and I am now fully skint for the rest of the month.

I hope you're proud of yourselves. *weeps*

I thought that the HIS x1800 XL would have been cheaper all the time. Like the reduced price now.

£199 inc VAT normally. The Sapphire X1800 XT 256MB is only £217.32. I would have thought the X1800 XL to be around £185 mark all the time.

X1800 XL is an EOL product and as such only stock left in the channel so it sells for whatever resellers wish to sell it at as the lineup from ATI is:-

X800 GTO 128MB
X800 GTO 256MB
X800 GTO 512MB
X850 XT 256MB
X1800 GTO 256MB
X1800 XT 256MB
X1800 XT 512MB
X1900 XT 512MB
X1900 XT-X 512MB

Yeah it's quite annoying really...I spent about an hour deliberating over how I could justify spending £300 on a new card and I found none...Worse still with bills to pay I worked out I couldn't really afford it right now! So after careful consideration I decided the smart thing to do was to wait a couple of months, at least until my finances are in a better state......Anyway, x1900xt should be here Friday. :D

Same here....I'm on my overdraft now, but at least I can justify I did boost my grades in a exam resit, haven't upgraded in 2 years, its a damn fine price, and goddamn it, I couldnt resist....especially as I have a 959NF monitor that loves 1600x1200 res (as do I) @ 85Hz! :D

Probably the ONLY thing stopping me from getting a 1900xt is that i really can't be bothered to re-do my watercooling loop and get a new block.

I currently have a maze4 on my 850xt...i'm guessing it won't fit on a 1900 will it?? ;)
