That’s a shame. Played it in such a way that you could tell he knew that even though Clark was physically invincible he wasn’t mentally invincible and was worried for him

Really? He was in 'Man of Steel' for less than 8 minutes in total.
100% would have been good to see more of him. They should have made a Superman 2 but the exec wanted to rush it.

The suit is as we all guessed, ill fitting, and well... despite the "work", David Corenswet has put in, the suit makes it look like he has keg, rather than a six/eight pack.
There a reason why the comics wanted to move away from the outward pants because it looked outdated and out of place. Unfortunately it doesnt look any better here, like i said it may look much better once they have it on screen with all the special effects etc. I guess Gunn's rational to returning the pants is to distance itself from the Snyderverse Superman and go back to basics of the original look.

I said the same, when you take the comics that this is apparently based on/taking inspiration from its just awful!! Maybe they thought it would look to close to Cavill's supes?

At least it’s got a belt to hold up his pants.Can ignore the text but you can see the picture for comparison. The material they used for the new suit looks a bit thick and 'ordinary' is the best word I can come up with. I know which one I prefer but I am bias

Here was my thinking it couldn't look any worse after seeing the suit and the budget male stripper version of Superman.

He looks very comic book accurate. Very reminiscence of Alex Ross's rendition. Strange character to have but early days. Hopefully the movie will be better than what we seen so far.
