Man of Steel is underrated. IMO, it's aged like wine.
I have/had issues with it, but it really is a great film.
Agree with this.. watched it again just the other day.. and it reminded me how good a DC superhero movie actually can be..
Bwhahahaha! Superdog?! Also, could only think of Top Gun with the music.
But, James Gunn.
Probably not a cinema visit for me, but will deffo watch.
Reboots don't ruin classic films. Those films still exist and they're still classics. Please no more reboots, stop ruining classic films
Trailer is all in the first 5 mins then Luthor kills Krypto (superdog) and Kent goes full John Wick for 2 hours...
Now that's a Superman plot I would go see.
I’m going to answer a question with a question. Can you tell me what looks good about it?what was terrible about it? Let me guess. colour grading?
It's not a reboot. It's simply a new adaptation of a comic book that's been around since 1938.Please no more reboots, stop ruining classic films
Just one time they just need to get someone with the physique of today's Steven Seagal to play Superman. I mean, it's not like his strength comes from his physique is it?but still lumpy/bunched up in areas that clearly shouldn't be to show off a Superman physique.

It seems to be trying to do a more fun angle, which is admirable, but to me it just looks like another DC film, with some James Gunn-isms.
Not sure what colour grading has got to do with anything?
Couldn't agree more.Colour grading has been the straw man argument for the film sucking, based upon a whole 30 seconds of preview. A lot of the snyder bros seem to be taking exception to the fact that the film doesn't look "cinematic".
What is another DC film at this point? They complete **** the bed with the snyderverse. We haven't had a superman that's hopeful and colourful since Reeve left the screen.
Snyder clearly didn't understand the assignment. No one's been asking for another deconstruction of the superhero, no one was asking for a superman trilogy where he spends the first film "establishing who he was and why he has a no kill rule", and no one was asking for superman and zod to completely wreck his home town and metropolis while Hans zimmer riffs out to his (admittedly fantastic career highlight) soundtrack. If Snyder had been told to do the Dark Knight returns, I'd have watched the film multiple times because Snyder does Nihilism. Snyder does not do hopeful or optimistic, and then to pair him up with david goyer of all people was just a terrible idea.Couldn't agree more.
For me this film looks and feels like a comic come to life. Fun, hopeful and wonderful. While I enjoyed MoS it was a soulless colourless world, devoid fun fun and wonder.
Snyder didn't seem to understand what made Superman so appealing to people. Superman being someone we looked up to in awe, saving people whenever there was danger and not ploughing through a city killing thousands of innocent people. He would take the fight away from them keeping them safe.
