Superman: Legacy

Hopefully not yet another bloody origin story that accompanies this, how many times do we need to see the same pish? Krypton boom bla bla who cares?

You can bet your left nut it'll be CG enhanced up the wazoo. Instead of making a good suit like previous entries they're giving post production more work that could have been done on set, and they wonder why fx houses these days are getting burnout. The Cavill movies the cape was the only real cg element of the suit, and even then not always.

The poster looks like they're trying to obscure it to a point tbh, and the suit itself looks like the owner gained some unwanted weight and is doing their best to hide it.

When you look at Tyler Hoechlin or Henry Cavill they've amazing physiques and the suits really help to show that off. The thing is, I've seen pictures of the lead in Legacy and he looks pretty damn buff, so you can't even make the anti-steroids argument for the character.

Every area you'd expect to see muscle definition is obscured, utterly bonkers if they "define" his limbs in post work.

That's... very meh unfortunately.

I agree that the Man of Steel teaser trailer did more to get viewers hyped for the full trailer (which also got quite a pop) back then.

They really should have not dropped this teaser, as it's a very weird piece and place if you really look at it:

1. There's not enough of anything to get hyped about before the proper trailer tomorrow
2. All scenes are very quick cuts.
3. BUT, it seems to have this weird ego boost thing for Gunn as did you know that their name has the longest cut in the entire teaser trailer coming in at 4 seconds? Longer than any other scene in this teaser?
4. Whilst the lack of colour in Snyders DC movies were something derided, did you get a whiplash of colour during this teaser like I did? It's like, every scene was full of colour and different colours that had no right to be together in that scene. It's wild.

That trailer tomorrow better be something special. Because all since announcement, there's not been a good feeling about this.

We might now get him as Wolverine in the MCU so there is that at least.

Remains to be seen if the W40K series does actually happen given the wrestle there’ll no doubt be between him, Amazon and even GE themselves now.
