Supplements the debate/discussion thread

From what I've read, the appetite suppression aspect of things like ephedrine and thef act people start doing more fasted cardio on fat burners (based on the idea that this will make them even more effective) accounts for way more of the results people get than the increase in metabolic rate / fat burner-y properties, so if your diet is on point and you're moving more, it's debatable whether it's worth taking it.

it increases mbr by 3% on it's own, combined with the other stuff your talking even more, so yeah it works, but it's debateable whether the health risks are worth it, not the fat loss part of things.

there is a chance it could kill you if you were to do HIIT and then go into a sauna afterwards for example. is it really worth the risk from that point?

it's effective just not safe imo.

Good man - I'll be using your referral points for some more protein this evening. The circle of life! Cheers.

No probs went for the 1kg bags which were buy 1 get 1 half price, so with the free protein from the referral code I got 2,25kg of protein for £26 can't complain with that.

My TPW referral code is JR22553 feel free to use it.

From the link

20% of the action of ephedrine with caffeine in promoting weight loss is due to increased metabolic rate while 80% is due to appetite suppression.

So it works but how safe is it?

Also is the whole point of that thread to discuss how effective it is on people with low body fat? It doesn't have any data or tests on people with low body fat just fat people therefore pure speculation.

There is proof that it works however, and it should be obvious to anyone the lower your body fat gets the harder it becomes to get even lower. Therefore you could conclude that although benefits are minimal at lower body fat that isn't because it's not effective just that the effects are minimised due to how difficult it gets to lose weight at that stage.

DAA just tastes of sherbet, if you want a truly horrible supplement try straight CEE powder. If I drank battery acid I imagine it would taste just like that.

Anyone supplementing Calcium/Vit D? If so where have you found to be the best source.

Tesco have a 3 for 2 on 90 caps at Calcium 400mg, Vit D 2.5mcg at about £2, £4 for 270 caps.
