I did a money wasting exercise yesterday and ordered 4.5kg of Dymatize Elite Whey as I just fancy trying something branded for once.

Now I know it's like twice the price of My protein but Meh! Gotta treat yourself sometimes!

Will tell you how it tastes and mixes on weekend :-)

After my Strawberrys n cream from TPW and opened up the Vanilla Creme. It tastes just like melted vanilla icecream. Although on a morning when your tied it kind of has a sickly taste, very sweet. Bet its amazing blended with ice-cream (Which im going to defo try).

Two scoops vanilla whey. Two scoops vanilla ice cream. One large bananana splash of milk and roughly blend. On a hot summers day it is amazing.

Strawbs and cream is lovely but it's so sickly sweet as an after gym shake, it's hard to drink.

Pretty certain that MP's bedtime extreme is exactly the same but possibly cheaper. Has been a while since I last checked.

Edit: Yep, although MP sell in 1.8KG/4KG it's £10 cheaper per 2KG, £22.99 cheaper if you were to buy 4KG. The HMB/Glutamine ratio's are different but unnoticeable surely.

Bedtime Extreme is god awful though, literally the most foul tasting attempt at chocolate ever and leave the a disgusting chalk texture in your mouth for ages after

It was a bit chalky but I liked it.

Tbh I think with most supplements you eventually come round to the taste. For example the chalky/grainy texture and taste of DAA used to make me cringe but now it barely even bothers me.

I'm the opposite. Start out going "OMFNOM NU FLAVUR' then after a few times it makes me grimace. Might just rape my wallet and buy a million of MP's cookies. They are like ****ing crack.

£60 isn't all that bad really. £57 for 5kgs of MP stuff.

I feel so uncultured. I've bought Impact Whey since I started and just use Flavdrops - it's not OMGSOTASTEH but I've never felt like it was a battle to drink anything - most of the time it's pretty pleasant, though some of the flavours work better with milk than just water. Different flavour erreh day, can mix several together too. I'm too indecisive to commit to a load of flavoured whey.

Well Dymatize Elite chocolate mint...

The stuff is fine and mixes very well. But tasted pretty crap. Bit disappointed flavour wise. Smells nicer than it tasted. Might be better with milk. Will try that tomorrow :-)

I ordered 4kg on the buy one get one half price. The cherry Bakewell is just the right amount of flavour and sweetness. Doesn't take like diabeetus like the vanilla.
