TPW Whey 80, it's all you need really. Whey is whey, and the only reason to ever buy Isolate and the other expensive whey is if you're counting every last calorie, but even then, it's just not worth the extra cost.

The flavour to go for seems to be cherry bakewell, I absolutely love it and so do a few others on here. If you use TS6642 when you order, you'll get a free bag of protein as well so you can try a couple of flavours, lemon shortcake is good as well
No worries at all.
For instance, I had some fun issues 18 months ago when re-starting the gym after a big car accident, so I had to sit back with some pink dumbells for a while during my rehab period.
To be fair, a lot of what you're describing is "new lifter-itis" where you are being forced to move in ways that have been neglected for most of your adult life and - as a result - are finding that a lot of what you're trying to do is quite compromised.
This isn't necessarily a problem if it is something you want to address: a lot of people set themselves up for some big problems (outlined above) because they don't bother fixing them. It's quite simple.
I'd much rather you set off on a good path to a better quality of life than begin with some bad misconceptions and derail yourself later on.
For instance, you may want to think about resistance training (i.e. lifting weights) as a way of improving your weightloss regime, because cardio only gets you so far.

My referral code if anyone feels generousTS6642
Anyone tried the beef jerky from The Brotein Works? going to add some to my next order.. DA1879
I'll use that one, thanks, im pretty sure code DA1879 is proven to give you extra gains![]()
However, cardio creates a deficit so it does not 'get you so far'.
I'm about to buy myself some electrolytes to make up my own sports drinks for cycling.
With regards to the carbohydrate element, I'd be interested to know what people believe to be the advantage of maltodextrin, fructose and the like over caster sugar?
Disco Boy
High 5 use dextrose and fructose in 2:1 ratio in one of their electrolytes drinks for cycling, their site has a great write up on why/how it works along with some studies, well worth checking out.... copy ingredients, make own... save cash
I personally just use their zero tabs
Just use a pinch of table sale in every 500ml of drink you make: much cheaper.
Regarding carbs, you could always google the difference.
However, as you are being particularly lame...
MALTODEXTRIN is classed as a complex carb, although it is only a polymer of glucose and broken down very quickly by the body. Arguably as fast as dextrose. As it's a starch, it has no taste, either, which may or may not be a good thing.
FRUCTOSE is a component of sucrose and is mostly found in fruits. It does not elicit the same insulin response as glucose, but is transported on a 1:1 ratio through the intestinal wall like glucose, so it absorbs through the standard glucose mechanism. As it does not stimulate as significant response as glucose, diet people seem to think it's better for health... this is despite missing the small issue that excess sugar is excess sugar.
CASTER SUGAR is just ground-down table sugar, i.e. sucrose. This is a compound containing both glucose and fructose in 1:1 ratio.
A cheap energy drink for most purposes is, therefore, a bucket of regular sugar mixed with squash and a pinch of table salt.
