Supplements the debate/discussion thread

Where you grab yours from? I've recently got some and tried it on Monday. Had lots of energy and focus through the whole thing. I think im on my 3rd day of body DOMS from the deadlift session and its still going strong!

I get mine from predator nutrition. 36 quid with a shaker.

Can be had for under 35 elsewhere but these give good service and shakers always come in handy :-D

i can burn 250 calories in under 15 mins on a treadmill

anyone spending x hours doing the same has some serious issues

Any alternatives to xtend or is it still the best?

Currently lifting in the morning and then combat in the evening 4-5 times a week, flagging a little in the evening so need something extra to keep me going.

Xtend isn't a stimmy pre-workout, the majority of people only take it pre-fasted morning training.

EDIT - because it starts protein synthesis and should aid in avoiding any theoretical catabolism from fasted training. I don't see much use for it otherwise.

I know (I've used it in the past), I want something to sip during my MT/BJJ sessions. I used Xtend for this purpose in the past and was planning to order some more for the same reason.

for the noobs who have obviously never done cardio

burning 250 calories in under 15 mins on a treadmill is easy if you are running at a decent pace.

i got the info directly from a polar heart rate monitor. which tracks my heart rate throughout the whole run, it knows all my personal details, like age, height, weight, etc.

no idea how it calculates calories burned but it is usually higher than whatever the treadmill says.

since polar make the best heart rate monitor's on the planet, i would take their reading over the treadmill any day. even if that isn't enough, i shall take some readings off my treadmill through ifit online:

2.5 km
12m

223 cals Jul 1 2013

223 cals in 12 minutes in that run

2.5 km
12m

223 cals

again the same run with same calorie burn on treadmill

5.0 km
26m

450 calsJun 26 2013

450 calories in 26 mins (slower pace)

usually my heart rate monitor has an even higher amount burned on it than the treadmill. all the above readings are from the treadmill.

come at me bro

I cant take tablets for the life of me, and i would like to trim up a little more of the stomach fat without loosing size, i've lost over 21lbs and gained a fair amount of muscle in the past 3 years, are there any powders etc that can assist in burning fat abit faster?

Yes i know its about diet/ calorie deficit and lifting im doing that with a bit of cardio, but would like to try speed the process.

either do it at a healthy pace or do it wrong with chemicals and it will be temporary, damage your body and you'll fill up again.

TABLETS.. wth.
