Supplements the debate/discussion thread

I am currently using this.
I got Cookies and Cream, which apparently is the best flavour.
The flavour is terrible (see below).
Here's what I do:
I take 1 scoop, whey protein concentrate (MyProtein), 1 scoop Olympus.
I blend the 2 together in lots of water. I add 1 teaspoon of peanut butter.
This shake fills the entire protein shaker to the brim.
This stuff is thick, like nothing Ive ever encountered.

The above cocktail, tastes good.

If blended with water, on its own, it is terrible.
When I mixed it using a shaker, the stuff would not mix well.

The texture is ridiculously thick, and filling, so if you are losing weight, this is the stuff to get - it will fill your stomach up as you have use a lot of water (unlike Whey Protein Concentrate).

Would I buy again - yes.
Would I buy on its own, without peanut butter or a blender - no way.

There are some people in here who are training for body building competitions and need only the best/leanest - in which case, get Whey Isolate.

But if you dont compete and just want to supplement your regular diet with some cheap protein - I'd say this is a damn good purchase. On the value front, for me, this is the best, no question about it.

I havent noticed any change in my body composition, since adding this protein to my diet.

imho,

Banana - MP is best
Vanilla - TPW is best

Will update on the MP Latte mix later

If you would like a free 250g bag of protein with a TPW order then use referral code: WL17931 try a different flavour :) I tried TPW Lemon cheescake which tbh was quite nasty lol

Cherry bakelwell milk protein 85 from TPW is quite nice.
The bedtime extreme from MP was also decent think I had that in vanilla

I've tried nearly all the flavours from MP and TPW and bar some exceptions that are pretty bad (rhubarb and custard, I'm looking at you) they were all pretty much of a much bar how sweet some were. I wouldn't want some of the sicklier ones every day but they're all pretty inoffensive if you're just necking 1-2 scoops a day.

Looks like MP wised up
Theyre saying there was an issue taking my paypal payment, yup I'm sure there was lol.
Ah well looks like I only get 5Kg for next to nothing lol

You could always argue that the sales contract is still valid until you do not wish to make payment in another form...

They have tendered, you offered and they accepted... and as it isn't (until otherwise notified) your fault, you should have a reasonably grounding for an argument...

MP Latte, quite nice but a bit too sweet for me, might be good with a bit coffee added in too

EDIT: Just tried the raspberry, its a bit bland, more of a raspberry aftertaste, had to add an extra half scoop to actually get the taste.

Anyone ever used USN Hyperbolic Mass? I've ordered some to use as a weight gainer as I definitely need the boost. My diet at the moment isn't helping me as much as it should, and with being seriously ill a month ago, it's really made me have to start from scratch again.

I'm wanting to really get in shape, and make sure I eat to the fullest. With a high metabolism I find it difficult to, with such a busy lifestyle.

Or...

You could buy something cheaper that also includes:

- protein;
- creatine;
- sugar...

You have highlighted your own deficiencies, diet-wise, that any brotein shake won't suddenly deal with. The best answer, depending on your circumstances is to have a think about why you're so busy and why this stops you from eating/training.

Because if you're busy and not eating properly, you will probably put on more fat than you will otherwise need to as your hormones will be out of optimal whack. Also, you run the risk of not training properly, either, meaning you'll be too tired to train effectively due to poor recovery and unbalanced workouts.

TL;DR

Sort your life and diet out first. ;)
