I've had the sunflower stuff from TPW, only flavoured though but i couldn't tell much of a difference compared to the whey.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good comprehensive multi vitamin tablet?
(I'm aware that the sensible advice normally is that multi vitamins are a bit useless and merely result in expensive ****. However as an IBD sufferer they're apparently helpful for me.)
AFAIK pretty much any basic one will be sufficient, although you end up taking in far more of certain things like Vitamin C than you need. It obviously won't cover your Vitamin D3 needs though which is why a standalone, nice and high strength one is pretty essential for people living under a grey sky and office lighting most of the time (5000iu upwards for the win). The expensive ones supplement companies sell that have silly serving sizes like 5 a day and stuff lliterally = peeing your money down the toilet.

Does anyone have any experience with non-dairy protein powders? MyProtein seem to have a bunch but I've got no idea what to try. I've been getting a lot of breakouts lately and I'm thinking I might try cutting out milk and whey for a bit as I'm at a bit of a loss as to what else it could be! Looks like you can choco smooth in soy..
Sorry to bump this back up, as I notice it's been quiet for a while:
Can anyone recommend some good fish oils? Any specific brand which is good?

Anyone take any pre workout drinks? Are they recommended? Not really considered them before.
I thought about pre workouts as my energy has been really low in the gym - I though I'd try a monster (the white zero cal one) and it didn't work. It tasted nice but I just felt shaky and awful during my workout.
So if your going to try it, actually try a pre workout not an energy drink
If an off the shelf energy drink made you feel like that I'd highly recommend not trying an actual pre workout as for the most part they have even more stimulants in and will magnify that shaky horrible feeling.
Although it could also be down to the fact that you hadn't eaten enough and that Monster contains no sugar so you'd be buzzing from the energy and feel like you could push through but your body was telling you you were on your arse in terms of actual usable energy reserves.
