I used to mix my whey with my Skyr.

I'm also dropping body fat so controlled calories.Do you have a specific reason for using isolate? Switching to whey concentrate would be a good choice to save some cash.
Avoid beef isolate it's effectively just collagen and useless for building muscle tissue.
Honestly if calories is the only reason for using an isolate I'd just go for the whey concentrate, you're looking at an increase of approx. 30kcals per 100g of whey so basically nothing.I'm also dropping body fat so controlled calories.
I take 400cal Huel Black for breakfast and 400cal for Lunch. That's 80g protein between them.
Dinner varies widely and I don't count anything there, I then like to top up the protein before bed/after training.
Since paying attention to my protein intake I certainly feel I recover faster I don't snack as much either.
I also find it just kinder on my gut, no side effects so to speak of that I used to get.Honestly if calories is the only reason for using an isolate I'd just go for the whey concentrate, you're looking at an increase of approx. 30kcals per 100g of whey so basically nothing.

They're supposed to be very sustainable.Someone I work with is trying to set up a business using protein powder made from ground crickets. And I don’t mean the sport.
Given the number of people I know who can't drink a shake that isn't perfectly smooth without heaving, I say their biggest challenge won't be the source of the protein itselfSomeone I work with is trying to set up a business using protein powder made from ground crickets. Yeah... I have never understood this. Same with people who can't swallow a tablet without apparently choking.Given the number of people I know who can't drink a shake that isn't perfectly smooth without heaving, I say their biggest challenge won't be the source of the protein itself
Been happy with MyProtein stuff.I’ve just hit 205lbs to help some light heavyweight friends, and now want to get my abs back. Switching from gainer to just protein, anyone got any recommendations on the best tasting brands? There’s far more flavours but I’ll probably stick with chocolate. Cost or calories isn’t a factor.
