"I was dubious about the benefits of using a scoop however having read all the reviews I decided to invest. My training has reached new heights and I am beginning to see real gains - I started with the empty scoop and gradually added powder. After only 6 weeks I can now lift the whole scoop even when it if full of powder. Thank you MP"

2.5kg chocolate is £3 more expensive than 2.5kg unflavoured
yet
5kg chocolate is £13.50 more expensive than 5kg unflavoured
unflavoured is still way cheaper to by in bulk anyway

anyway 5kg of chocolate impact whey is £53.49, which is 4100g of protein. 1.3p per gram

cheapest eggs in asda (excluding smartprice because they are horrificly bad imo) is 30 medium for £3 at around 7.5g protein each. which is 1.33p per gram

i think my math is correct although ive not had my coffee yet :o

i only have 1 shake a day so my 2.5kg bag of whey will last 3 months or so :)

damn i was close, im sure people can see my reasoning though, it's very close. so a good option for those on a budget is eggs and protein shakes.

Could the amount of water effect whenever or not you respond to a pre - workout shake? Been taking full scoops of Blast Razor8 powder and been feeling nothing. Been using 300ml of water on the maximuscle bottle/shake.

How long between eating and your PWO shake?

300ml is a fair bit. Tbh I usually used to just pop in 100-200ml, enough to make it drinkable.

Your last meal will have more of an effect though. Some are 'engineered' if you will to still work alongside food, I know V-max is one of these but not sure of any others.

I have about 220ml with 2 heaped scoops of jack3d and I feel it, but not so much if Ive eaten not long beforehand.

I drink ~1.5 litres of fluid during a gym session =/. 500ml of water with jack3d (tend to have 1 scoop and use very irregularly currently) and it still gives me a buzz. Speaking of which I had 2 scoops the other day, think I trained around 1pm and I was still buzzing the next morning srs =/.

- 1/2 Frijj chocolate fudge brownie milkshake
- Mint dark chocolate (I used 3 squares from the big bars of tesco finest chocolate)
- 6 scoops of whey protein (I use isolate, and I think I might have put 6 1/2 or 7 in last time to make it thicker)

Blend, then stick it in the fridge and you have yourself an amazing high protein pudding-like treat.

I used it as a filling for protein pancakes the other day as well, except the pancakes themselves were a bit of a fail. They don't really hold together very well without loads of egg, and even then all you really have is a horrifically dry whey omelette.
