Wipes don't happen very often, there was one a little while back so i don't expect there to be another one for quite some time.

They expect probably 1 more wipe when their new game server comes online. At which point, when this server is active(named Suncrusher I believe) then at the point this server becomes playable, there will be no threat of character wiping. It's listed in their road map pages, but I can't get to them here at work

On the subject of wipes, you can tell one hasn't happened in a while by the amount of people walking around with stacks of mastered professions under their belts.

Hopefully we can get this city and guild started this weekend. I got the guild hall. Can anyone make city hall yet not seen any for sale.

Building a city/guild was the bets part of swg for me

I'm torn between Pistoleer/BH pistols line/Smuggs and Pistoleer/Ranger or Squad Leader.

Ranger would be good for the creature harvests, and for when they eventually add BE and CH, but I'm liking the idea of being a SL in a massive group of OcUK'ers doing DWB and Geo caves runs

I don't understand, why when i open mineral scanner, has the list of minerals changed and there's no longer any extruisive ore on the list at all.

Resource availability changes, waypoints to old resources are useless. It happens when there is a reset and with it being less stable that happens a lot.

but there's not even an option to survey for extrusive ore on the mineral scanner

Then there are no resource spawns available on that planet.

i dont mind that so much, but it does make placing extractors pointless. especially as it changes so often.

but two plants neither have any form of extrusive ore. seems odd.

Is SWG craft still being updated? That place used to be a Godsend to crafters when I was playing. Many a time, a quick check at lunchtime at work to see what was spawning and where, and then quickly drive home to set the extractors up

Exciting. Will have to go with my original SWG name for nostalgic reasons. Eiki, would be interested in guilding/grouping if you see me.

I don't remember grinding being so difficult! I swear that the low-level mobs are hitting harder than they used to.

It just means that prospector is something you have to do pretty much full time rather than slapping some harvesters down and forgetting about them.

I made a fortune on the old servers by scouting out high quality buff pack ingredients. If you could get your flora farms down before anyone else found the resource patch you could make a real killing.

It can change daily and the extraction rates are extremely low, to remove an extractor costs money as well. ATM with server going down so often, it seems a bit pointless. As the resources usually change ever server down, which can be several times a day.

Ah, it doesn't change that often. I've had extractors sat on a really nice gemstone site on Rori for three days at this stage. Extraction continues while the server is down too, so it's well worth it.

Put it this way, it's paying for my composite

If the city seems a little out of reach atm I can just trow up the guild hall on tat to get the guild up and ruining. Then we would be in a better place to decide on city stuff.

Is it bad I mastered Image designer on an alt so I can customize my toons
