Lol im not disagreeing with you. Its just funny how you keep posting the same info again and again looking for agreement from anyone else that read the wikipedia post about al thingy too

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...sia-has-started-delivering-S300-missiles.html

Hope we don't need to fly over syria they should be almost operational with those s300s they got it may.

pathetic, out-dated, over-hyped piece of equipment.

Even if it is so good as everyone suggests it is... 1 vehicle has 4 rockets so that means even with 100% interceptor ability it will only take out 4 cruise missiles... Send 5 cruise missiles to each S-300 location and its over... I doubt assad has more S-300 rockets than Nato has cruise missiles.

Game changer? Maybe against someone like Israel but against US navy with their tomahawks this will do nothing. NATO wont even send the planes this time, they will just bombard the place from their ships which are out of reach of Syrian anti ship rockets, they were also recently delivered from Russia, Yahknot and Iskander.

because loads of people keep coming in and calling us conspiracy theorists or assad supporters when all we are doing is looking at the facts.

look at some of the comments people seem to think once assad is gone the friendly rebels will take control when the situation would likely be very different with al nusra taking control like they already have the oil/flour/gas/bread refineries/factories which the rebels once held

Its just impossible to have a sensible conversation about this stuff when people think the bbc government queen army usa and post office are all making it up

In my opinion yes these situations are terrible making choices about doing or not doing something but look at afghan in the 90's or somalia now. These problems dont go away if we keep our noses out and they come back to bite us worse later on and yes iraq was a mistake and poorly planned but that cant stop us ever doing anything ever again

Still though, if al qaeda get there hands on those, I wouldn't be slating that sort of tech then.

We haven't been shown any evidence to support the claims that Assad is responsible.

If al qaeda gets its hands on it, great... we will get it from them and study it. If al qaeda refuses, well there isnt much they will be able to do with it anyway :D You need very smart people to operate those things, it isnt ak-47.

I am not sure if there are any tutorials on youtube on how to operate S-300 and Yahknot/Iskander missiles... Worth a try though.

Once the poo hits the fan and we will see the "cruise missile launches" from NATO ships, keep in mind as you watch them launch and fly... yep thats another school, hospital, nursery, university tuition fees money, being hammered in protection of terrorism regime... Epic.

Agreed

That doesnt mean we wont
But i doubt many in here would entertain even concrete proof

concreate proof like when the UN found no chemical weapons in iraq but america insisted they had them?

lets faceit western countries are just as corrupt as every other country in the world and not some morally superior government that always does the just thing.

I want actual proof not hearsay from some defector like last time or because hague says it it must be true

Being wrong isnt the same as making it up
Yes they dressed it up too much and relied on too little hard facts and yes it was poorly handled

:D

Well if you watch bbc panarama on the issue, I mean if western intelligence forces actually did not "make up" the reason for invading Iraq, and it was genuinely a mistake...

I am really worried about our services since judging by the evidence they were given, a 6 year old would understand its total bull-crap. Especially after the UN went to the facilities where this so called "chemical weapons" manufacture site was according to USA... They discovered that it would simply be impossible to manufacture anything let alone chemical weapons in that facility, apparently that report got "lost" waheey mistakes happen dont they?? :D:D

So I mean judging by this, we can expect Cameron or Obama to reach for their nuclear suit-cases and launch some rockets any-time, since I mean if whole western intelligence is so retarded am sure our leaders are no smarter...

So any action taken by the US is purely punishment for the use of chemical weapons and nothing more? - a slap on the wrist with a tomahawk. This just seems really weird to me. And the ramifications could be huge.

I aways thought the phrase 'world police' was coined by cynics, but it appears to be true.

I must admit I'm torn on this. The suffering is literally unbearable and makes for awkward watching/reading. The emotions run high and I can't help but think something has to be done.

But then who is anyone to interfere in what is a civil war. Taking sides in this could be dangerous. I'm also very wary of politicians citing reasons for going to war as most would agree.

There are fake videos and acting of some attacks. I don't know what to believe anymore. I just know Assad would not have anything to gain by suddenly firing a chemical weapon.
