Tabletop Warhammer?

I'm up for that... the tutorial not the manw*****g...... :)

What time, I should be home around 5ish, then just have to drop the GF somewhere and will be free the majority of the night from that point.

I don't know if anyone here has heard anything about this but it appears that GW legal is getting a little over ambitious about the trying to take over the Space Marine trademark in books. Basically they sent a letter to Amazon to pull an authors book because it was about Space marines (not the GW marines, but generic space marines as per Aliens, Heinlien etc).
GW seem to think they were the first people to use the term, rather than it being a generic name for armies in space (as seen right back as far as the 30's).

Heard about this, sucks to see GW bullying people like this but then GW are long departed from the company we grew up with, they are all about profit now releasing a new codex every time a race drops in sales and re-releasing 40K every time their out of codex's to update >.>

Somebody should tell the creators of the "Princes Ryans Space Marines" tabletop game to sure GW for the trademark infringements of their Rogue Trader and Warhammer 40,000 games, see how they like it :P

Do I get an extra point for uploading my army first for this league hehe;)

Well you get everyone planning how to beat it in advance :p

RE: The 25 wounds thing, these things happen. Considering Power armour would have saved 2/3 of those anyway (save on a 3+) and then of that 1/3 wounds another 1/2 would have been saved by Feel No Pain (ignore unsaved wounds on a 4+) then the average amount of wounds would have been just over 4 wounds. So really it's not as dramatically lucky as it appears.

I was running some tests on this last night with a 3+ armor save and FNP of 4+ with 25 dice and out of 10 tests the worst I took was 5 wounds, the best was 0 and the average was 2.

well i have decied wat army i am going for i just need to pick wat list i am going for lol. any tips on how to paint gargoyl wings lol :P

you need to set up the drobbox account to the e-mail you have on trust. Then the folders just apear when you log in, I think you also have to activate your account too.

you basically need a dropbox account, download and install the client, login. Then open the email from Dan with the link to the shared folder. follow the instructions in the link and it will create a folder within your dropbox called 40k (or something like that)

I also uploaded a little something something last night that we won't use for the tournament but might be fun for one off games for a bit more variety :)
