Tabletop Warhammer?

Just saw both are instant death, though have invulnerable saves (I can make him re roll his) and I have higher imitative.....

I haven't played in the last 5 or 6 years, (although at my peak I played 14 years straight so I'm still a veteran) but Im sooooo tempted at getting back into painting =/ The model price doesn't bother me too much but the paints are so expensive (considering I use a very large palate)

You don't need every paint though! They're cheaper at third party sites (like Triple Helix)

I dont know If I am looking forward to the match on Friday against the CSM lol Should be fun either way. I will be happy if I just win 1 game throughout the League!

I think we should get this thread re-named to an official one. Have we decided on if we will be creating a new thread for the leagues or just keeping it in here?

Mix your paints, As long as you make sure you have the basics you should be able to mix different shades.

I used to do that when needed but never got consistent results (I did painting for the local store so was spoiled as if I needed a paint I got it) doing a lot of models. My original skill level was quite high but I guess I've lost a lot of this over time, haven't painted anything in years. Might take a sneaky trip into the store tomorrow lunch time, although this is probably dangerous. Id need a display cabinet if I took it up again, don't have anybody my way that's into the actual gaming scene.

On that note, do the stores still do the "vets" nights on Tuesdays/Thursdays? i trialled it back before it was official with staff lockins but no idea if it still runs

i am looking for a display case but i aint got a clue where to start. i dont have loads of money too so i only need sumit cheep and to stop the cats from kicking them off the table lol
