Tabletop Warhammer?

Yeah, I found a website that does some (just Googled model display cabinet) but they all look a bit bit and only have 3" depth which isn't enough for large models

IIRC it will eat through most of the acrylic paints*, if you're worried about a good bond and know where you need to glue you can use a bit of fine sand paper (high grit) and just gently rub the paint away from the joint (there are "sanding sticks" etc you can get for modelling, or just fold a bit of fine grit paper on itself, or glue it to a lolly stick or whatever), you could probably even scrape it gently with a sharp knife blade to get the paint off.

*I can't remember ever having a problem with having to glue over an undercoated bit of model.

Guys,

I am thinking on building and painting an imperial guard army will need everything but the games workshop prices scare the hell out of me! when i collected 9 years ago it was much cheaper back then.. not to mention most of the metal models are not sold anymore? :( any tips on obtaining miniatures, paints and brushes cheaply?

Urgh, my hands did not want to cooperate tonight. Trying to fine line on my incubi and my hands were about as steady as a bowl of jelly in an earthquake zone.

Try the bay for an Imperial Guard job lot or on the sprue. You get some excellent bargains. Same for paints. My e-mail is in trust if you want a leg up with brushes as I have a few spare you can have for free.

It is I had a look at tht triple helix site and I can save about feet quid for what I want if I went to them rather than gw lol I'm not to fussed about the paint side it's the models tht cripple me haha getting some more Orc modles stuck between tank bustas or looters lol

Yeah I try to avoid giving money to GW as much as possible on principle. They are rip off merchants, pure and simple. Black Library has turned into 'how much can we charge for our books'. I saw an email about the special edition hardback codex for Chaos Daemons....FIFTY FIVE POUNDS?!? Are they having a laugh? That's more than the entire game used to cost.

On a side note, The new Chaos Demons models look ACE...... So glad they introduced Allies in 6th edition :) Want me a squadron of Plague Drones :)
