Tabletop Warhammer?

What is it? Not that I'm interested in playing myself, but I love reading the match reports you guys post :D

Is there any way you guys can say what unit is called what in your matches? Sometimes I have no idea what some of the units are, especially the 'nids!

Yep sure, Season 2 I plan on making the battle reports even better (labelling units on the map is a great idea!) Downside is, I'm not doing all of them, so others will have to step up if they want them!

You can go to ground when you are fired upon, immediately increasing your cover save by 1 but then you can't do anything in your next turn with that unit. Useful for a squad desperately holding onto an objective for example. It's even better in 6 because you can still snap fire I believe.

I went through the hassle of naming my units once, Shami barely mentioned the brave exploits of Lord Commissar Sir David Henry Whittleworth in the battle report :(

Haha were they worth mentioning though?

I like the idea of naming units and characters for the upcoming season. It'll give the whole campaign a bit of depth to it, story wise.

John....he hid behind a power plant and did nothing all game except die to a horde of angry Khorne Berzerkers Blood Angels, he didn't even shoot! :p

With a story based campaign next time there should be some good opportunities for little stories in the battle reports.

Clarty has had to pull out of the league due to limited internet access and free time.

I'll give wins to the people who haven't played him to make it even.

He did shoot ... once .... he missed. that's heroic.

Yes, he was glorious and majestic, an example of honour and bravery to the men of the Imperial Guards Etonian Regiment. His presence on the Battle Field filled the men with hope and the enemy with dread ... or was it the other way around.

So I've decided to enter a terrain competition on Dakka Dakka. The competition is to build a piece of terrain with the theme being a shrine. We have until the 30th June so I'm going with a Cathedral that is being attacked. I don't want to give too much away because if I can pull it off then it will be better than me typing about it.

As the project goes on I will post updates, I so hope I can pull the idea off that I have in my mind!
