Tabletop Warhammer?

Have a read through shami's document on Dropbox about changes in 6th, its actually quite good :p (yes shami after you mentioned it the other day I went and read it, good work)

Thanks :)

Last night me and my girlfriend played a LOTR board game, next week we are cracking out the DV set for our first game. If I lose to my girlfriend i may just quit the hobby once and for all XD

What's her email address? Can I give her some tips? :D

1k

It's quite an experimental army for me and it will probably fall on its butt but I need to test it.

I haven't read 6th ed rules though so will be rusty on that front :p

Ok, I will play...Space Marines I think, haven't actually tried vanilla Space Marines since I restarted.

This little lot should keep me busy for a while :D -

Compressor and airbrush kit is just a cheapie but i wanted to try it out, on the recommendation from here i have also got a neo for Iwata on the way.

That's quite an order. Do you need grey knight termies I have 8 I need to move on.

I played my first game of fantasy the other week just 1500 points against beastmen ended with his doombull left and my block of rats and warlock. So a draw, should be playing 2000 points this Friday :)

Also my abombination is coming a long will get some pics up soon

That pic reminds me that I need more Firewarriors! Darkstrider rocks with Firewarriors and an Ethereal within 12" too. Wounding marines on 2's ftw!

That compressor set is pretty much what I have. It is cheap but does the job nicely!

Nice haul. :)

Which Neo did you order?

I went for the CN Gravity feed one, im totally new to airbrushing so wanted to start of cheapish.

Out of interest, do you use an airbrush ? if so what do you waterdown your paints with ?

Im good for termies Lucky, cheers tho.

And yeah i know citadel tools aren't the best (and over priced) but the hobby knife is ok.

Cool. :)

Yeah, I use an airbrush and to thin paints I use either Vallejo airbrush thinner or Liquitex airbrush medium (usually the latter at the moment). You can use water but I prefer the Liquitex stuff, personally.

Ah ok, have also ordered some Vallejo airbrush thinner.

Postie with perfect timing :D

Vallejo Thinner is good but tend to find I use the Vallejo Airbrush cleaner for thinning paints. Seems to flow a bit easier and keeps the inside of the airbrush that big cleaner at the end etc.
