Tabletop Warhammer?

Much much better with the helmets on :) now to give them decent weapons!

When I have a better bits box i am going to have to get some of them and convert them to chaos :D use as a hellbrute or something :D

Does anyone know how they will fit into the fluff?
 
Ward is saving himself for Codex Ultramarines probably.

I assume it's a new STC they've found (probably the Ultramarines found it because they're so amazing and everything)

I've heard discussions whether they are the Imperial versions of obliterators so I imagine it won't be a newly "found" STC. The drills also make sense for siege units, drill dem walls down!
 
Obliterators are Chaos Space Marines that have been affected by the obliterator virus, they're a fusion of marine, armour and daemon....

This would have to be a new STC really (or they could retcon it so they've existed all along)
 
Consistency doesn't exist in GW :p The new suits are between termie and dreadnaught so I can see how they could have these as being what Chaos corrupted into oblits.

I don't think the GW writers understand what technological dark age means, they seem to think it mean its literally dark and people are wondering around with torches looking for new tech.
 
I really want to see the new Sternguard boxes. I was going to use FW for mine but since these contain the combi weapons and heavy flamers then these could well get added to my list.
 
Look at the shoulder pads! That's the Fast attack symbol!!

Presumably that will be more to do with them tunneling into the middle of the battlefield than actually being able to move quickly.

At least, I bloody hope so...
