Tabletop Warhammer?

Tis nice but I can't use contrast paint for **** so I avoid it for most things lol. I can still copy some of the steps there.
Hoping cult of paint do one soon as they are airbrush focused. Interesting they're using their own paints too (yet to be revealed)
No problem he did say in the video that the volupus pink contrast layer didn't have to be perfect as it will be re-layered with a coat of thinned down Fulgrim Pink ;)

A little tip as well is to paint Lahmian Medium directly onto the primer, then apply contrast paint on top of the medium while its still wet, the medium stops the contrast paint from sticking to the primer making it easier to move the paint around

That is not far off what I was thinkin lol. I have quite a lot of pinks now.

Tried a few different ways of applying today, not particularly happy with any of the results atm.

Thinking I might go something like this guide but rather than black as the undercoat, use a bright cyan.

That could work. I'm creatively bankrupt when it comes to this stuff so I generally always have to follow a guide of some sort. I suspect mine will be pretty much box art scheme in the end.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Just watching tabletop tactics EC Vs Chaos. The movement on EC is insane but noise marines are very squishy, all got taken out by one Forgefiend salvo lol.

Anyone else grabbing the emperors kids? I'm very excited about them.

A few! I was but then was on a downer about it (due to something I misunderstood about the range) then Kindai challenged me on it and I thought about it more and I'm excited again.

I've some noise marines from 30k that I was planning on painting up for my chaos marines but I think I may have to just stick them onto some cork and use with the emperors kids

Currnt works in progress... flesh tearers terminator (excuse his eye) flesh tearers chaplain, and 1 terminator of the Lord Felthius And The Tainted Cohort (death guard)

Everything else i have primed and base coated, with good intentions (haha) to get as much done as possible before the urge to build emperors children boxset when it comes

I needed a shopping dopamine hit so ordered BT combat patrol and Sword brethren. Also picked up Corsair Voidscarred kill team. Birthday only comes once a year so frig it.

Anyone recommend good drill bits for the pin vice? I have the red metal GW one but I’ve broke most of the bits and got cheap ones off Temu that are pretty pants. Almost picked the tamiya pin vise but still need bits.

Warhipsters first guide is out. Tempted to go for that theme to be honest as its simple enough to paint and looks the part.

Will see the other 5 he'll be releasing in the next week before deciding.

This appeals also, can do them en-masse with a cheapo airbrush and then trim highlighting.

Wouldnt take much then to progress it to something like

There was also a guide on the official Warhammer page that shows six different schemes, one was white and gold that I quite liked, I think the warband was called Glittering Myriad.
The Constrictor one used contrasting dark and light purples which was cool too.

Must

not

paint

another

metallic

army....

So many good options. I've longed for a white and gold army for a while and I do wonder if this is the one it suits most, especially as they have a canon warband in that scheme. I should do a test model

Templars are cool, I was tempted at one point to do the white ones instead.

Roman's keeping his local store in business.
Well its an independent store that I don't mind supporting ;)

Has your sanding pen arrived yet ?

Just been repainting the log cabin, got half of it done so far, £54 for a 5 litre can of clear UV sealant/stain !

Perfect weather here for today and tomorrow to do the job.
