I think rep left contact email a few posts back, think if you drop your serial details in email , then should be logged that your enquiring about Mobo upgrade before time's up. Specially with the weather, everything's grinding to a halt so again, will be digital enquiry
Is there an address where I can send an email to find out what upgrade options are open to me? Or can you email on the address that you have in the system?
Hi @GIGA-Man, I had already started the upgrade conversation with guido back in October and completely forgot about it until March.
I'm registered for the programme (Guido kindly dealt with all of that back in October). Since then at the beginning of march I sent an email to both Guido and the [email protected] address but have not had any response back.
Please could you give me a hand getting this resolved?
I've now received a response from the office and I'm being offered either a GA-Z170X-Gaming G1, GA-Z170X-Gaming 7, GA-Z170X-UD5 TH, a GA-Z270X-UD3 or a Z370 Aorus Gaming 3.
Ideally I would like to upgrade to a Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 as I would like to do some overclocking and the Gaming 7 would be the best board to allow me to do that and I don't mind paying an upgrade fee, but I'm being told I can't do that anymore.
Is there anything you can do?
I appreciate the fact that I did strt the process with Guido, but didn't complete it a couple of months ago, but at the time I was offered an upgrade to the Gaming 7 but couldn't afford upgrading all of the components to go with it. I can now and could do with your assistance with this.
only thing i can think of cause conflict with it being Far Cry 5 being given to those boards for new owners this month... maybe to stop claiming ...
I've used the K3 for gaming and found it fine , have the ITX version and run that with 8700k at 5.1 ghz . Gaming VRMs are fine but the little itx goes past 100c when rendering haha - but eah if you can push for the Ultra 2.0 and Aorus 5 with laying down some cash (think others had to pay difference then its worth it)
I have sent an email to Gigabyte 2 days ago regarding the upgrade promo but still no reply how long usually does it take for them to reply on emails? thanks
