Talkmobile

Does it show as TalkMobile or voda on the screen display? also is there a TM APN or is voda?

Just ordered a SGS2 on the 12 month tariff!

The marketing push they did was indeed for true unlimited, would be ridiculous to go back on that all of a sudden, and would allow people to get out of their contracts.

I'll find out for certain when I am back at work next week.

I'll find out for certain on Monday.

T&C's clearly state:

Unlimited Internet (included in tariff allowance)
Some Pay Monthly contracts include “Unlimited” data access as part of the tariff allowance.
There is no limit on mobile internet usage on contracts which include “Unlimited” data access. However if we feel that your data usage is so excessive that other customers are detrimentally affected and/or we are concerned about fraud, we may introduce a fair use policy. If we publish a policy we will let you know. Any such policy may change from time to time, including where we introduce new Services which may require certain rules to ensure such new Services can be enjoyed by our customers. If, once we have implemented such a policy, your use of the Service is excessive, is causing problems for other users and you continue to use the Service excessively we may suspend all or some of the Services.

Mobile Internet Data (included in tariff allowance)
Some Pay Monthly contract and SIMple tariffs include inclusive Mobile Internet Data as part of the tariff allowance.
Mobile Internet Data is subject to a limit of 500MB or 1GB as stated on your plan per monthly billing cycle, and then subject to a charge of 10p per MB thereafter.
You will be notified by text message when you are approaching your limit and advised that charging will apply if this limit is exceeded.

It is with custom rom, but on my HTC Sensation with HTC Sense it was not enough as the stock apps and services ate usage, I've got rid of crappy HTC Sense and it's a lot better, I'll use Wi-Fi most of the time anyway especially in uni, but it'd be nice to be able to go on youtube sometimes where Wi-Fi is not present.

It will be enough for me. I'm on Orange with a 500mb allowance and have never gone over.

lol at crappy sense, I thought that was the main reason people bought HTC's.

Maybe some do, it looks all awesome but it drains the battery life like no tomorrow. I'm not bothered.

My HTC sensation has really quiet speaker I'd struggle to hear anyone in a city and I had to flash the radio to get any actually signal in my village, I can actually use my phone to call people now but It does cut out now and again.

I just can't wait to go sim free, 15-20 quid and you can get crap loads of mins, texts, unlimited internet.

Does anyone know what the free things to cancel after like a month are, insurance and something else?

My mum appears to have shredded the documents I got with the phone :\, I wanna ring up and cancel em.

Surely if they change your data allowance that's grounds for cancellation? Thus you would be able to take your handset and move to a cheaper SIM only tariff. Don't think I'd be too mad really :p

'Crappy HTC Sense'? HTC Sense is fantastic, the phone is worth it for Sense alone! I don't have any issues with excessive data usage at all.

I don't see what is so awesome about HTC Sense apart from it looks all pretty. I prefer it deleted and gone tbh my battery usage went up I can just about use my phone as a mobile phone now.

I found no real use for the widgets, the ones that were useful were really only useful kept up to date with syncing and I've got auto sync turned off.
