Tap water

I use tap water from the bathroom at night because it is closer than the kitchen. Tastes the same tbh, although the kitchen is usually cooler.

Not really, I prefer kitchen tap water, however, my cat will not drink water from the kitchen tap, only the bathrooms.

That would be the same cat that tongues it's own ass on a regular basis no doubt. Hardly an example of 'which tap tastes better', unless of course you were implying Kitchen tapwater is infinately better than the bathroom one.:p

Maybe do a taste test thing, like pepsi vs Cola. Fill one bowl up with bathroom water and one with kitchen water. See if tiddles can taste the difference and it's not just down to water temps.

Yuk...

Toilet water tastes much better imo. here's some free advice though, don't drink it when it's yellow. I made that mistake once and i was sick for days :(

Ive never tasted the water from my bathroom tap as my mum always told me it comes from a tank in the loft and there could be dead rats in it .

Gullable much? :o

:D Well she was speaking from experience as there was a dead rat in the loft tank at our old house. Ive just never really felt the urge to go downstairs and get a glass then run upstairs to fill it with water :p. If i want a drink i usually just head for the kitchen and i rarely dink water anyway.

Any modern home and any newly fitted water system needs to have a sealed tank to stop anything from entering it, they have to be screened to allow air in/out and air are black to stop the growth of allege.

You would think the water in the loft is like the water from the Ganges river

Drinking water that is contaminated with Legionnaires is not going to kill you, you need to inhale it into your lungs for it to take effect. Its more dangerous when its heated or around a hot source.

Do you just make things up for the sake of it?

I used to work for a Facilities Management company and have closed Schools down in the past because of contaminated water due to Legionnaires.

Plumbed the bathroom myself, so it's mains for the cold water, tastes the same as the kitchen and icy cold.
