Tea

Coffee all the way...

In the immortal words of Swiss Toni : "Making a cup of coffee is like making love to a beautiful woman. It's got to be hot. You've got to take your time. You've got to stir... gently and firmly. You've got to grind your beans until they squeak. And then you put in the milk. "

Can you grind beans with tea? I thought not.

^Swallow the teabag made me chortle :p

1: Shake teabag to remove tea dust
2: Put teabag into mug
3: (Add sugar if required)
4: add boiling water
5: Leave for 30 seconds or so and caress the teabag with a tea spoon, then remove teabag
6: Add milk and enjoy!

The following are criminal..
-Milk first
-Leaving the teabag in with the milk
-Adding sugar after the milk

Tea bag and milk should NEVER touch makes the tea taste skanky

INCOMING TEA SCIENCE!!!!

Boil kettle.
Mug.
2 tea spoons of sugar into mug.
Add tea bag.
Add boiling water.
Stir ten times in clockwise direction.
Squeeze bag against side of mug (honk honk!)
Bin tea bag.
Add just enough milk to change colour.
Should still be far to hot to drink for a few minutes.
Dunking biscuit optional.

My method avoids sticking a wet spoon in the sugar bowl.
Your science is broken though.

Tea and sugar should never touch I think is what you meant to say. Can't stand the stuff in tea.

Twinings Assam is quite nice, I also drink a special brew Burundi that I get from a teahouse near me. Coffee wise I normally go for a Colombian/Costa Rican bean. Oh and Waterloo Chai is a rare delicacy that I get whenever I can find it! The latter being the only tea I'll drink with sweetener/sugar.

For me, Twinings tea aren't very good, lacking in flavour and definition. I much prefer teas I have bought from other companies such as Pickwicks or Taylors of Harrogate

Twinings is my safe go-to tea. Middle of the road, safe. My daily mule :D

I've bought some Assam loose leaf tea from a couple of places, Wittard's of Chelsea is one, not sure on the other and I still prefer Asda/Sainsbury's (or Twinninng's).

I am however going to see about getting some nice Sunshine Grey from somewhere. Anyone care to recommend their favourite online tea shop?
