Teachers should be respected more by kids?

OCUK - Mumsnet for neck beards :D:D:D

While humorous, you cannot have it both ways. It wasn’t that long ago they were complaining General Discussion is dead now you have lots of activity to belittle. So which is it?

It was jokingly used, because I was talking about a relatively nerdy thing - going into the settings on a computer forum and changing the posts per page - so I said n00b as it’s the nerdy insult :p.

Strange. Every person I’ve seen do it were raging with it.

The device used doesn’t change it. I don’t care, just lol at having to deal with twenty post a page for so long.

But tbf if you crash drones into TVs to write them off, trying to stop them with your hands just before, I’d probably focus on more important life skills first :p.

BAM! :D great shot hehe

In all honesty misslauren, if a child threatened their dad was going to do that it should be immediately transferred to the HT. You also have the right to refuse to teach. Some of the Educational experts on here think teaching is all about dealing with what is abuse. Its not. You are there to teach. Its your room, your rules.

Personally when I taught I let people go unless there was a few minutes to go from break. Eg they asked go loo at 10:55 and a break was at 11.

Sounds like the kids doing this have some of the worst parents going at that age. These are the same parents who let their kids get away with murder as long as they aren't ****ting on their own lawn. Sadly, there is very little hope for these kids.

Speak to your schools HR or the LEA and get advice. If ever a learner said that to me they would be gone and anything akin to spitting is a police matter (granted I taught older kids) but its still unacceptable.

Noticed a few posters saying they go work whenever they want. Lucky them, some employers monitor toilet breaks (a big one in Stoke is quite known for it)

My missus has worked at a couple primary schools in deprived areas. She's been called much worse than a bitch by kids much younger, been spat on, had kids try to punch her etc. She agrees on the no toilet policy as if they realise they can get out of class they all start to take the pee with it and suddenly they all need the toilet constantly.

Your missus is right, most teachers have a no toilet rule. I have encountered worse from younger children to when covering for teachers.

well this has been a rollercoaster read

If you were talking about secondary school kids then I would agree.

Year 6 kids on the other hand... No chance.

Then again, i cant believe this is a real thread. Someone who is bored with a spare account and a VPN.

What is the difference between year 6 and 7?
