Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

Hey all.

Just setting up my new system with a ryzen 1600, Asrock fatality itx board and the 8pack ram.

First start up with default settings and the memory was running cl15 timings at 2100MHz.

So I enabled XMP profile and now its running at cl14 timings at 3200MHz but the system loops a few times on boot up before starting.

Any way to stop it doing this?

Hey 8pack cheers for the reply.

I found another setting in the ddr settings for "failed count number" (apparently its the number of times it will try to load the overclock settings before reverting to defaults) which was set to 3. I've since set it to 1 and now it just loops the once.

It's still loading with the correct settings so not sure what's going on?

As long as it's not doing any harm I can live with that.

Spoke too soon, now on DOCP 3200 c14, after a crash.

It lasted hours testing and playing BF1 so seemed close to stable, does anyone have any suggestions to improve stability, settings were simply 1.41v and DOCP. Apart from that everything is on auto and CPU multiplier on 37 with CPU vcore 1.2v?

BIOS 3008.

Quick question, friend bought these to go along with an i5 8400 and msi z370 a-pro, as there is a decent fps gain with >2400, and well with current prices may as well have the best. No problem so far, just one quick question.

After enabling xmp to set to the 3200 speed, the system agent gets set to around 1.3v. Not sure that's safe for 24/7. I knew it would probably need a bit of a bump to run at 3200 instead of stock, but not used xmp on my own stuff before and that seems excessive.

I don't have time at the moment, to sit there and tweak it for them and get it as low as possible, while still being stable, so for now I've told him to turn it off and go back to default.

If it's too high and I need to do it manually, what's a good starting point for the imc?

The memory makers must be laughing all the way to the bank, just noticed memory in general has gone up in price again (not pointing at you lot OCUK, know you can't do anything about this).
Memory I bought recently has gone up yet another £30. 16gb at £230 now is insane!

My new 8Pack 3600MHz ram turned up today to replace the Team Group 3000MHz ram I got with my Ryzen bundle in April which was only stable at 2133MHz. Booted 1st time at 3200 and looking very stable, build quality is miles better then any ram I've every used.
Hoping the Ryzen refresh or Ryzen 2 can get the full 3600 out of the ram but I'm happy just to leave it where it is.

^^ Good to hear. With decent CPU and IMC 3333mhz should be easy C14 with this memory.

The build as well as IC quality is something we really focused on. Just like anything with the 8Pack logo on it.

Got the ram working at C14 and 3200MHz which is fine for me. My 1600 seems to a bit of a pig as it ok at 3.7 but anything above its not stable. I'll be getting one of the new refresh 8 cores when they come out later this year so will just leave it for now.
