if you like to explore and have fun then go nuts haha in theory, 3600 should be a nice boost over 3000/3200 but time will tell

9 hours of memtest and cas14 3200mhz with a 1700 @ 3.925. just enabled xmp and changed the timings and set command rate to 1T. will see if i can get 3600mhz at the weekend just want to game now as it feels like a whole new system.

Tested full 16gb overnight and all is good with cas14 3200mhz. I also have a sneaky feeling that it was the hynix ram that was holding me off 4ghz so gonna have another try tonight. How long do you run realbench to consider the oc to be stable.

Could get 4ghz but it took 1.45v, so settled for 3.95 @ 1.39 and ram at cas14 3200mhz. Will try to get closer to 3866 at the weekend. She feels like a new system and DCS world is buttery smooth now.

My ram is rated up to 3866 so as I just mainly game on my PC would there be any major performance gains running it at say 3333 or if the gaming 5 can do it now 3600. Tbh cas14 3200 does feel good enough.

3200c14 is fine for gaming on Ryzen and a significant gain from 2133 etc.

When I had 16gb I ran it at 3333c14 and then 3466c15 which gave similar bench marks/ gaming performance both on 1.4v. Currently the highest people are getting is 3600 but it’s a bit of a lottery.

For 16gb ram 2x8 3200 with ryzen 1600x how many tests at once and what megabytes to write in box memtest.
Curent i use 6 boxes and 2000mb is it fine or need open 1 more to close up to 16gb or im wrong.

Also a bit of help for tighten 3466
current runn on this 16/16/16/ 32/62 1t or just try 15/15/15/30/44 1t ?

Too much playing around ram make windows 10 to corrupt self ......again reinstall time is this happen only to me

I use almost all 16gb if testing that amount so say 15.7gb is used.

Got some sort of problem after all playing with ram today something like freezing for seconds its apire after restart when see MB logo and small windows loading circle screen go black for about 10 sec and its take me too long with this freezing to login also after login is a same nvm what do just do freezing in intervals of 10 sec ...already done profile bios change is same... reflash bios again ... so its left windows again ...or if some one know a better fix share with me tnx.
Problem solved...2nd windows reinstalling pluse cmos clear do a job after all is like in my case is not good to jump around saved profiles in bios....

I brought a set of this ram and it just works, brilliant kit, much cheaper than comparable ram from g.skill.

By the way guys someone made a modern windows ram tester, its as good as HCI but its way faster karhu ram tester. You have to buy it but it is cheap and is a lifetime license.
