Tefals badly planned holiday, coming to a sofa near you...

Tbh the route atm was just using the motogoloco. Site to get a rough route the flags are just where I manipulated the route and the roads are the auto select it was just to get a rough idea.

As for Europe let's just say I'm combining this with let's all it "adult" couch surfing to meet some folks who are normaly too far to travel too, I do have a few people who want me to extend it to Ireland lol.

Europe next year :p

But that's what I want advice on routes/towns as so far no real plan.

You have a flag that appears to point at Ringwood? Or is it Salisbury \ "the road between Ringwood and Salisbury"

Don't go to Ringwood- it's just a normal boring little town. Christchurch / New Forest towns are much more 'lovely' if that's what you're going for

Was just where the route I modified original started lol

Yeah, you're completely wasting Northumberland on your route. You'll miss pretty much all of the scenery.

Looks like you're following the A47 through Norfolk. It's a bit tedious and you're probably better off going into North Norfolk, either following the coast road if you've got time to kill or just meandering through the various B roads.

This is a decent option for the lake district

Very scenic right in amongst the mountains with some high twisty roads , early morning ride is probably best when the sun is rising over the mountains

It'll take you over the Honister pass and the Kirkstone pass, there's plenty of tourist towns for pit stops and a look around

Bowness on Windermere is nice for a bite to eat but there'll be hoards of tourists

Could also head to Wasdale and Wastwater which is one of the countries most scenic places

Agreed. Take the A149 all along the coast. There's bound to be tourist traffic but that'll be no problem at all on an 800 cc bike.

This is a common view, frankly it's one I'm almost sure I've said myself in many threads but in a way its a shame we all say it. I've been to many places and the scenery in Northern Scotland ranks up there with the best I've experienced. It's truly exceptional up there and many people never see it because they just... go to Europe instead.

This. Scotland rocks. As good as anything I've experienced elsewhere, and the weather isn't as bad as people try and make out, unless you're unlucky or just a bit of a pansy.

Do the West coast of Scotland, much nicer place and better roads. Watch out for the sheep though, there's loads of roads with no fences into the fields.

Pretty much like Wales :)

Had a sheepie on the road today we was quite well behaved much more so than the squirrel which went to the promethious school of running away from things and decided to run straight down the road in line with my tyre lol
