Tefals badly planned holiday, coming to a sofa near you...

Oh dear lol,not very road trained

We nearly hit one yesterday in the beacons. We were approaching two on the side of the road lying Down, one decided to scarper and run across the road. But about 2 seconds after the other one got up and decided he wanted to follow the other

Luckily we stopped in time.

Of all the places they could eat they always like near the roads :p

Waves at Tefal as he passes through Cumbria :)

when i go ill keep updated with my location (is there any site or software that lets you do that so people can see how you're progressing?) so when im near feel free to say if your free to meet up for a drink or a hello :p

Agreed. Take the A149 all along the coast. There's bound to be tourist traffic but that'll be no problem at all on an 800 cc bike.

Not sure where that road is but I agree. Go to Sheringham, Cromer, Hemsby then Gt. Yarmouth. Norwich is a nice city. Steer clear of Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds is probably the nicest town around the Ipswich area.

This is a common view, frankly it's one I'm almost sure I've said myself in many threads but in a way its a shame we all say it. I've been to many places and the scenery in Northern Scotland ranks up there with the best I've experienced. It's truly exceptional up there and many people never see it because they just... go to Europe instead.

The problem with northern Scotland (and the UK in general) is that 90% of the time it's almost guaranteed to be cold and wet, even in summer! It's why so many people leave to more reliable locations if they can. The scenery is stunning, but sitting in a damp tent shelterig from the rain after 3 days of wet is something you only do half a dozen times before you go **** it, I'm off to southern France! :D

I second a few of the other suggestions for wet coast scotland though. The scenery is great and there will be a lot less traffic to enjoy it.

Any specific reason you're missing out the gower? one of the best parts of south wales imo although st davids and Pembrokeshire are beautiful too.

The little coast road up from St Ives (Cornwall) is nice.

Also needs a bit more of a wander around the Lake district to see everything.

Lots of spots in the Peaks are popular with bikers too.

Live satellite transmission from your helmet GoPro would be epic. Just need to get yourself a sponsor. :p

Because atm I've basically just drawn a rough line around the country with no stops planned yet which is why I'm asking where's good to go.
