Serena in trouble. A set down and just served 5 double faults in one game so she's a break down in the 2nd as well.

edit: she really is running on empty. 2 points away from going out.

This has been a bit of a curious tournament for the seeds so far with Djokovic and the Williams sisters being put out so early and a number of top ten players not taking part in the first place but great play by Konta to get through in the end and I'm hoping that Murray's fairly serene progress continues.
 
Konta against Kerber today isn't it? Kerber made a little bit of a meal of the second set but overall 6-0 first set means a pretty short game. Konta had a long 3 setter which she looked knackered by the end. She was playing well but not sure I can see her winning today.

If it stops raining and they manage to play any games then yep, it's Konta vs Kerber. I also think this might be where Konta's tournament ends in the singles but hopefully not.
 
If he wins this, I wouldn't be surprised if he cruised to the gold after. Happens a lot in tennis where you get a match where you're on the verge of going out, battle hard, rescue it, then it's plain sailing after.
