Variation of speed, depth and the angles he’s hitting is really causing Djokovic some problems. Haven’t seen him stretch and run as much as this for a long time.

The longer this goes on, age will surely come into it. Doesn't matter how fit you are, 16 years is a big gap.

It's all deliberate - it's been a long game and serving takes it out of you. He's tried to contrive an argument to give himself some time

It's part of the game - McEnroe did it, Murray does it, even Federer from time to time. Part of your job as the opponent is to ignore the mind games. It's part of what makes tennis so interesting.
