Not a problem mate :) I'm still stuck patching the game, seems to be going at a snails pace! Hope I can get on tonight at least :rolleyes:

Anyone else experiencing slow d/l speeds patching the game?
 
Guys I have never really played MMORPG games before, I don't know why but I've been itching to try one out. Should I get this or would I be better off playing a more newbie friendly game or would this be fine?

I cant really comment on this game yet for difficulty as I've just been given a key and still downloading. As for an easy MMO you really can go wrong with World of Warcraft if you haven't already played it. After playing it sine 2005 I myself am abit bored of it but with the changes in the latest expansion is very 'newbie' friendly and it would be a good start to playing an MMO.
 
I wouldnt mind one either, i really want the game but not about the 20gb download, ill do it anyway :P emails in trust
 
OK I just acquired a CE Edition account from a friend which has 1 or 2 trial codes spare I think. I'm willing to share them here to return the favour - but - I would prefer if someone was willing to roll on the PvP server with me! Haha. Seems most of OCUK are going carebear :o
 
You know im on Samuel - its alright, not amazing, but its gonna keep me entertained a while. lvl 14 Mystic called Kheli.

By the way, Xire ^ gave me a trial which convinced me to buy, and I don't want that trial to go to waste... if you message me in trust I can easily sort it out so that you can access the trial from Xire. That one will have about 6 days left on it.

PvP server fellas: do you have a guild? Want to form one perhaps, even?

Edit: Haha, I wanted to re-use the character name I tried on my trial account, but it takes a whole week to delete a trial character. So now my name is already-taken... by myself :/

It seems to get a lot better as the levels and content branches out - typical Korean MMO style. In the mid-levels when your character gets some decent gear and damage/heal output you start to really enjoy it more, afaik. You're quite brave rolling a Mystic as I've not heard many good things about them; hybrid's choice! I've just got a second character to level 11 tonight and I'm actually quite impressed with the game - it's really quietly surprising. It has a lot more depth and many more features to it than I ever imagined a game of this sort would have. It's quite surprising, for e.g., that it has an entire Achievements pane with a host of endgame raiding/pvp titles... already. Very much trying to cover all of WoW's established bases! (I hate achievements personally but it shows just how fleshed-out the game is). I'm also loving the guild vs guild server drama already. 500 guilds on our Samael PvP server and they're all scrapping and queefing like giant drama queens already. This is what PvP MMO's should be all about :D
