I really enjoyed the first episode, but what are they doing to this show! Such a waste!

Tbf regarding Avatar they could have had best cast in the world film was and is still utter tripe and over rated

Regarding rest of post, Maybe you felt abit let down cause part of you hopes for one great sci-fi show again which keeps looking more unlikely as these "make do" ones come along

The majority of the first season of SG1 was awful in hindsight.

For the ones on the fence, Ep5 isn't any improvement. Dinosaurs get about 20 seconds airtime in the episode.

It's just like a high budget soap opera, it's kinda lame.

If you're watching it for the 'story', then probably keep watching. If you watching it for the action and dinosaurs, then give it a miss.

Caught the last episode last night and kept forgetting what it was about and had already forgotten last weeks. Lousy characters, predictable boring script, quite frankly it’s dire. I won’t be back to see another episode.

One of my US friends sent me a photo of a new girl character that is in Ep5 with the words "They mostly come at night. Mostly". He didn't elaborate on the plot but wow! does that girl look like Newt or what?!

That was the first thing i thought of as well, this show is ripping off James Camarons style left right and centre since it started, there was also a "they come out at night, mostly" line in the first episode

Not too fussed on the latest episode - they have put too much emphasis on these "sixers", but have given us little reason to care. There was one brief dinosaur in the episode too, which felt like it was put in just because of the setting and didn't really add anything. This show is turning into a giant mess.

Shame, because I enjoyed the pilot and quite like the cast, but the writing is very lazy.

It wasn't that great an episode but it looks like the plot might develop into something at least, i doubt it will ever be that interesting but ill keep watching as there's not a whole lot on like it.

did they give a reasonable explanation as to why they cannot force it open?

they only had to make some comment about it being a security contained designed to destroy the contents...

Just said they couldn't figure out how to open it. It didn't even look man made, it was all funky.

I'd say its a mish mash of elements from SGU, BSG and Lost. But it's allot tamer than those three.

prob not for me, but again running out of what i watch, missing breaking bad, and crave the next episode of 'Sons Of Anarchy' this weeks was pretty good!
