Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

After saying that Was fine for about 2mins, then the npcs span on the spot... then jerked left and right and " lost connection "

Something is up, will keep trying though

They really have to work on the multi-player menu, is a little surprising they choose to release the game without being able to find hosted games from within the game.

It was released early because it got leaked, so to stop it getting pirated to death he released it, good decision and plus it should get some great content additions and will probly be quite different in a few months with lots of patches.
 
Okay..running a test of the server in Aedus's link with the following config:

That can't be right, can it? Surely it's a boolean value, and 1 means constant bloodmoon/goblins are enabled?

I assume it's just a typo in the config comments tbh :)
 
What a great game. I just spent my lunch playing. Didn't have a clue what I was doing if I'm honest. Just started getting some ore and some clay. Don't really know how to make anything if I'm honest. I got a work bench in my bag but every time I try and put it down I auto pick up :(

Put the work bench into one of your action slots (the ones along the top) and then when you have your inventory closed, switch to it and place it. This will place it properly rather than just drop it. Once you've done this you will have loads more options for crafting.
 
Re the server - can someone please sort out the spawn point so it's not quite the death trap.

I know it's fun killing each other but I don't think it's great if someone new joins and their first experience is being burned to death in lava :)

Probably an error on the viewer, when i logged I made it so people couldn't die on it. Though it was freaking hilarious watching people spawn into lava.

Probably the hardest i've laughed in agame for a while, that and playing bomberman with neil and windle :o

On that note, I'd love some kind of massive multiplayer Bomberman (that's actually good).
 
Not sure I like the update.
To not be able to mine hellstone with a gold pickaxe is annoying.

Anyone got tips for killing bosses without hellstone gear?
